This accommodation had everything we needed. It was spacious, clean and cozy. Although breakfast was not included, the host still had cornflakes, oatmeal, bread, shortbread and even milk prepared for us.

The location and the house itself, better than excellent. Unforgettable. At the end of a small road, with views of Armadale Bay and the sea. Utter silence, apart from the sound of birds and cows. The house is not big but warm and cousy. All details are well-chosen. Bedrooms beautiful, kitchen well-equipped, sitting room nice and cousy. Contact with owner impeccable, complete information by mail and house full of info on the surroundings. And so many things to do, in nearby Bettyhill (museum, and The Store: a very nice tearoom, and café in weekends). Whisky distillery in Thurso. Bird watching on Dunnet Head. Great walks in interior and on the coast. 10++, so highly recommended!
