Perfect getaway for 5 nights. Excellent location for driving to hiking spots. Rooms were perfect for us for the trip, kitchen came with all utensils we needed, good sized fridge and very easy to maintain. Hosts had a fire going upon our arrival and we found the cabin to be very warm for the entire stay. WiFi was also shockingly good for the isolated location!

Excellent cottage for a multiday stay only a few minutes walk from the centre of town so very convenient. lots of room to relax and the private courtyard was perfect.

Lovely little place with high-quality furnishings. Just a short walk from the middle of Ballater but feels quiet and peaceful. The lounge/dining room catches the late afternoon sun and has a view up to the oak woods of Craigendarroch hill. It's quite a small place (the reasonable price reflects this - it's in a 'premium' part of the Highlands) but the quality of the armchair, sofa and dining chairs would put many a grand country hotel to shame and made for a relaxing and memorable stay.
