The house had everything we needed and very clean when we arrived. The check in was smooth and we were let in at 12.00 as we arrived earlier, so we still had the whole day to explore and enjoy. The view from the terrace was beautiful. Laundry detergent was available which was a nice touch ( the previous villas we stayed in had dish washers and laundry machines but we had to buy own detergents for each). Also, the house is quite far from everything, but we had a rental car all the time, so it wasn’t not a problem.

The location is perfect . X4 different beach coves all within east walking distance . We preferred the iguana beach , calm sea and great for snorkelling. The villa is great with on sweet bathrooms and comfy beds all modern . Living space is large with open plan kitchen Pool area has sun light all day and also has a large table in shade which is great .

    There was a lovely view and the villa is in a quiet location that has easy access to the near by town and surrounding area. Great location for exploring west Crete. The villa and pool was exceptionally clean, well presented and well equipped. Everyone was very friendly and the man who oversees the villas on a day to day basis was really helpful and thoughtful. A really lovely place to stay, a great holiday.

    Dimitris was a perfect host, introducing us to the amenities and providing lots of recommendations for places to visit, to shop at, etc. The villa is a little paradise, with its private pool and superb views of the sea and of the mountains. We really liked the Leventis restaurant nearby, which was also Dimitris's recommendation.

    We spent a lovely holiday at Ilios village. The villas are beautifully located, very clean and well-equipped. Also, Dimitris is an amazing host - super kind and helpful. It’s worth renting a car, local beaches are just few minutes drive away and Stalos is a good starting point for longer trips to visit Crete’s west and south coast. Highly recommend!

    Dimitri met us having given him a rough time frame of our arrival by car. He was excellent dealing with our every request. He had fruit and a bottle of wine, raki as gifts upon our arrival. The villa was well equipped for at least our first morning and he gave us great recommendations for eating close by. Driving to these villas is not for the faint of heart but we had two brave drivers in our group. Cleanliness, beds comfortable and outside pool and views were all appreciated.
