Location and accommodation were really good. The place is a short stroll away from the beach. Rooms were cool to facilitate a good nights sleep. The private pool is awesome, especially for our 2 year old. The staff was very welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we have a nice time. The bar at the front serves delicious drinks, cocktails and food.

This place was perfect in every way. For a solo traveller who prefers some independence and doesn’t need the attention of hotel staff several times a day, this accommodation is hard to fault. The room was perfect, clean, and well appointed, staff were friendly and attentive when requesting some help and I had a minor maintenance issue resolved immediately. Pool area was lovely and clean.

We are a family of 2 (a 6-year old and a 10-month old baby) and stayed in a bungalow. First of all, I have to say I have never felt like home at a hotel the way I did at Katala. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. We wanted to stay for 8 nights and ended up staying for 2 weeks. Matteo, his wife, Maas, Juni and all the others are just great human beings. Thank you all so much for making our time in Bali so incredible. Terima Kasish Banyak! Suksma!
