The location was only a few minutes by car to Collooney itself. There are two supermarkets stocking everything you need for a stay. Very easy to reach Sligo town by car. The house had enough space for the four of us. I really liked the big bedroom with en-suite and walk-in wardrobe. There were 2 tvs so everyone was happy. There’s also a utility room with a washing machine. I enjoyed walking around the beautiful garden each evening and sitting on the bench outside. Clodagh left some goodies which went down well with the kids and the wine with the adults.

As a family of four, we really enjoyed our week at Riverdale Cottage and were above average satisfied. There is not a single point to criticize, but a lot to praise. It is clean, cozy, all furnishings in excellent condition. John in particular proved to be friendly and personable as the owner. We wish John all the best with the rental, especially that the guests take care of the house and John doesn't have to worry. All the best and „Auf Wiedersehen“ !

A beautiful country base to explore sligo, with beautiful views of the mountains. The property is conviently located near the main routes to the north west and not disturbed by traffic .The facilities are excellent for self catering and the hosts who live next door are very helpful in a charming way.There is a nice ambience here and we will be returning.

Amazing so clean , attention to detail in the whole house , bread and refreshments left out for us was really appreciated. It’s so peaceful and calming, right on the lake. Micheal the owner checked on us now and then as we were 5 females aged 16-65 on our own we really appreciated that !Lovely kind man! It was large, clean and really well equiped. We were met by Hazel , she was so sweet and had the cottage heated and welcoming, even a nice welcome cake.
