The location is fantastic if you're visiting the ring road in Iceland, very close to the thingvellir national park, Geysir park and Gullfoss falls. Saw the most amazing northern lights right from the front porche as it's in the middle of an open field with very low light which made it great :)

It was absolutely beautiful accommodation. The most beautiful I've ever been to in my life. A beautiful, peaceful place. No other houses around. Warm geothermal pool, sauna. Beautifully clean, modern facilities. Full cabinet of board games. Very nice and pleasant owners. I recommend 100%. This place is heaven on earth. I definitely want to come here again. We loved absolutely everything. The cabin is very modern, new, super comfortable and cosy. The owner has left us some home made cake which was very delicious. The kitchen is very well equipped with nice dishes, the beds were very comfortable The shower was fantastic. The communication was very smooth. Everything was just perfect. Beautiful house tucked away (we chose it as it was in a dark spot and we hoped to see the Northern Lights) but not far to nearest shops. Clean, tidy and felt homely. Comfy beds and sofa beds, good showers. Enjoyed the hot tub. We brought our own breakfast as we knew the house was isolated. We did use tea bags provided. Spent the next morning at the Secret Lagoon which is about 4 minutes away - highly recommended.

A beautiful, luxury property in a perfect location, both private and peaceful but not remote. Equipped with everything we needed, including coffee for the machine, shampoo and shower gel and a good hairdryer. The beds were very comfortable, and all furnishings were high end but homely. Netflix was appreciated by some of our group. Stunning views from the hot tub, across the braided river to the mountains beyond made this a truly special place.
