We loved the house and its situation in kasbah-area. We stayed in Mazara del Vallo 4 nights and Vanessa was very helpful in everything we needed (as also by hiring a car from there). Hope ro get there still one day: a very special city!

We had a great stay at the apartment. Everything was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was well-equipped with good-quality dishes and utensils. We really appreciated having a parking space on the property, which made things much easier. The location is excellent — close to the city center, but still very quiet with no noise from the street. The host was very welcoming and even gave us a small gift — a bottle of local olive oil, which was a lovely touch. Highly recommended!

Josef is the owner of the property and he met at the Train Station and took us to the apartment. On departure he again picked us up and drove us to the Bus Station so we could catch our Bus to Agrigento, but the Bus Station is located 4 km out of town so many many thanks Josef. The apartment is very well located in the old part of Mazara del Vallo and close to the port, the arab sector and many of the local sights and only a short walk to the centre of town. The apartment came with everything we required for our short stay and comes with a wonderful view. The hot water wasn't hot enough for a good shower but Josef came and adjusted the temperature of the boiler which we greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend staying at Josef's apartment which is very spacious modern and he is a first class host.

    The villa was incredible, especially the pool. It was immaculately clean and much bigger than the pictures show. We stayed as a group of friends and family with two young children. The owners were so helpful and did everything they could to ensure we had a great stay. Mazara del Vallo centre is beautiful, some lovely shops, restaurants and cafes, well worth a visit. We would definitely return to Villa Matilde.

    Wonderful large villa with beautifully manicured and maintained grounds, surrounding a stunning pool, in a very quiet but convenient location in Mazara del Vallo. The owner/caretaker Michael is a true gentleman, out of sight yet always available for any query and full of local an regional knowledge, which made our stay all more enjoyable.

    Beautiful beachfront property with big spaces and spacious outdoor seatings, all with a view. Also offers a big garden and a parking space, all gated, so security is assured too. House has everything needed and even if there is something missing by chance, the host makes sure you have it asap. Genuinely helpful and kind hosts; it was a pleasure to meet them. We had a great stay. Highly recommended.
