A very unique beautiful stone house in the historic center of a mountain village. If you like old buildings and want something different from the usual tourist bungalow, this is for you. A great roof terrace overlooks the valley. The village is small but the people are nice, and there is a bakery, a bar, and a butcher. The hosts have a small restaurant in the basement of the house and will cook for you if you so desire. A great place if you want relaxed holidays (and don’t mind the bells of the church next door) and don‘t need a Trip Advisor-rated tourist attraction everyday.

This property is spacious and comfortable. The hosts meet us a property and showed us around. Using Google translate we were able to communicate with hosts. They were very friendly and helpful. The Villa is exactly like the photos on Booking.com. Ample car parking. A car is a must for this property as it’s up a steep hill. Fantastic views of Castelnuovo and surrounding countryside. If I was coming back with family I would definitely use this villa again.

    An excellent stay. The staff were beautiful- Lucia and Paula were so lovely and helpful. They gave some great advice for hikes and day trips from Sillico and nothing was ever a problem. The village is beautiful and the surrounding scenery was amazing. I highly recommend !

    We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment that was large, very clean, and well equipped. Loved the medieval village and quaint village atmosphere. The view from this location was out of this world. Beautiful! Paula our host was wonderful she could not have been nicer! Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of items to choose from.

    Wonderful hamlet with superb views over the hills and valleys of the Apuan Alpes: Green Tuscany. Very old buildings with flowers, vines etc. Nice little appartment with old wooden shutters, Italian kitchen and views over the rooftops. Lovely bar/restaurant on site a few steps away. Easy access to Lucca, lakes and other medieval villages. Great holiday! Breathe and relax!

    Wonderful location with great views, Friendly family and village and beautiful area to explore. We used this place as a base to visit the mountains, hill top villages, Lucca and Pisa. Our room had a beautiful terrace over the belvedere where we had breakfast and dinner each day and watched the sunset. We could get washing done and they had a vehicle to transport luggage to the carpark for which we were very grateful. This is a place where one can spend some time.

    Fantastic view, on top of the mountain range. Little village with stone houses, our house was truly 'vintage' and cosy, with modern amenities and bathroom. Staff super caring and friendly, great breakfast. Definitely worth a trip up the mountains. Be prepared to carry your luggage for the last 250m.

    Such a beautiful and authentic villa. The view from the room was overlooking the mountains, absolutely stunning. The staff was friendly and helpful. Good Italian breakfast with possibility to add scrambled eggs. Dinner in the restaurant next door was tasty and not too expensive. Location is about 15 mins drive up the mountains from the nearby town, no other services around but the view and peacefulness of the villa was worth it. Overall very authentic and cozy stay and I would recommend it.
