Everything! The place is super unique and charming. On one hand you get to stay in very traditional Japanese house with amazing character and art work, on the other hand all facilities are new, clean and comfortable! The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything but still quite and easy to access. The host was very lovely, friendly and helpful. It was very easy and pleasant to communicate.

Our stay was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. The reception area, where we met our wonderful host, was stunning, setting the tone for our experience. We were greeted with tea and snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch. The hospitality continued as we were kindly driven to our house, which surpassed all our expectations. It was the quintessential traditional Japanese experience, blending authenticity with comfort. Every detail was perfect—from the delicious breakfast delivered to our door each morning to the serene outdoor tub, the plush and cozy beds, and the exquisite Japanese décor. it's a newly renovated town house, very nicely decorated. all facilities worked well, esp. the floor heating and sauna were so much needed after a long walk in the snow. around the house there are CVS, beef shop and other groceries. worth a walk around

The owner was super responsive. I have absolutely zero complaints about the accommodation. Spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The location was perfect for walks into the old town, Miyagawa morning market, Takayama Jinya etc. The owner also operates a coin laundry just next door. With state of the art washing machines, it was super convenient.
