Fabulous little piece of history we stayed in an enormous room Rose. Pristine gardens, infinity pool, that was very cold, but with views to die for... The staff were lovely and very attentive. Breakfast was great we only had dinner once and it was also nice. The bungalows are up in the mountains it's a 20 mins tuk tuk drive down to Kandy. So it's good to plan day trips down and stay the whole day if you don't want to be travelling up and down. Beautiful hotel highly recommended if you don't mind paying a little extra.

We had a great time at Liyara Villas. The area was quiet, peaceful, very close to a Buddhist temple. The apartment was confortable, very clean. The hosts were really kind and helpful - they prepared dinner for us, as all the restaurants were closed due to Public Holiday. Thank You so much for a fantastic time at Gampola!

I absolutely loved everything about this place! The location is perfect, surrounded by nature. The food prepared by the owner was delicious, and it made the experience even more special. The house and rooms were spotless and comfortable. Overall, it was an amazing stay, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I honestly don't know where to start. The place is absolutely EXCEPTIONAL. A beautifully designed villa by the stream. Large, comfortable rooms. Beautiful bathrooms. Super clean. The chef who prepared our meals cooked so deliciously that even when we weren't hungry, we ate everything. Every need, question, or problem we had was addressed immediately. We had massages on-site, and they were the best massages we've ever had in our lives! And we are people who regularly get massages. We also booked a yoga lesson, and it was a great experience. On the day of our departure, the staff washed our car even though we didn't ask for it. We are full of admiration and recommend it to everyone!!!!
