The property was amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked with ingredients and equipment. The sun deck was fantastic. The rooms were so comfy and the best part was there was a sauna. It was in front of a body of water so its fjord front which was great. Lastywe had our first experience of the Aurora Borealis on the sun deck. Just awesome

Everything about this place was great! A clean, modern, cozy place to stay offering everything a guest could wish to have a pleasant stay! It felt like home from the very beginning, it was very clean, we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, watching the aurora from the terrace and spending time in the generous living room. Tommy is just the most fantastic host ever. We have travelled and stayed in hosts houses worldwide and I can safely say that there is none other that we've encountered who is more genuine, friendly, caring and truly loved what he does. He shared food and stories with us and the only thing we regret is that we only spent one night at Elvestua out of our 10 days in Norway. We will definitely plan to come back to experience the Northern Lights here and more importantly, to catch up with Tommy. A host who has become a friend in less than 24 hours!
