George, a very decent and kind man, met us at the station, our train arrived late. The house is in a place where you can paint new pictures every day! This is fun and enjoyment! The house is very well equipped with everything you need. From your neighbor across the street you can buy very tasty milk, cheese, sour cream for a little money - such high-quality dairy products have not been in the store for a long time. This was a perfect place to stay. It was very clean and comfortable. Sadly, due to the wet weather, we didn’t get a chance to use the deck, the bbq or fire pit. We saw the fabulous view the day we arrived and the day we left. It’s very quiet and peaceful. We didn’t meet our hosts, Gina and Romica, but their correspondence was wonderful. Because we had limited time they sent us a perfect itinerary with great recommendations. They advised us to stop at the Egg Museum at Vama on our way. This was worth going to see. The lady explained the whole process and then you wander through the rooms at your leisure. We also went to Voronets monastery en route. It is spectacular, even in torrential rain. Next day we followed the itinerary provided to see other monasteries. They recommended places to eat and booked one for us. We ate very well at Acasǎ in Bucovina where we had excellent service. It is a lovely place just outside Gura Humorului. We also had an enjoyable meal and great service at Casa Humor. Gina and Romica also left us two cakes which were delicious. We hope to go back again to stay - hopefully in better weather. Thank you so much Gina and Romica for a wonderful stay.
