Warm and helpful host. The surrounding was very beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The room was new and very comfortable. We had great sleep. The next morning, my friend asked the host to make breakfast. It was amazing knowing that the ingredients came from her backyard. The food tasted amazing. Due to diet restrictions, we decided not to ask for the whole dinner arrangement. But I'm sure that the experience will be amazing! Before we left, Maria, the host gave us a tour of her family museum. How humbling to know that we're in the company of well-publicised master weaver in Romania. Stay at this place and let Maria tell you her story.

A very nice and cozy cottage, fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home. My children and we really enjoyed our stay at this cottage and also the winter sports we were able to practice in Cavnic. The host was very polite and helpful, they gave us a nice welcome and on the morning of our departure the host let us know that we are not in a hurry to check out at 12 o'clock, because the next guest has delayed his arrival by a day and we can use the cottage for the rest of the day. I took this great opportunity to book an extra ski lesson for our older boy while I was able to work remotely for my job, so perfect timing for our host's kind offer. We are very grateful and will definitely return when the opportunity arises.

Magical place in beautiful rural area of northern Romania. Just being here really makes you fell relaxed. Old house is inside fully renovated for a comfotable stay and many decorations in local traditional style give a special spirit to the place. I love Romania and this is by far the best and most peaceful accomodation we've had so far. Also don't worry about the road, final part is not paved but easily doable even in car with lower ground clearance.
