Calm, peaceful cottage overlooking beautiful countryside and vineyards. The place was immaculately clean, spacious with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. We had an unforgettable, relaxing stay at the Škatlar cottages (our group rented #2 and #3). The property itself is stunning, right in the middle of the vineyard, overlooking the mountains. The cottage is new, spacious and fully equipped (kitchen, washing machine). The wine cellar is located below the property. The owner Matjaz was so friendly, he shared his knowledge & love of wine with us with a wine tasting on the day of our arrival. It was one of our favorite experiences and places we stayed in Slovenia. Highly recommend!!

We loved the whole experience of staying at the Vineyard Cottage Ucman. The hosts were lovely and prepared a great introduction to the wine history and tradition of the region. The cottage was great, comfortable enough for 4 people and very clean. Check in and check out process was flawless. We also had a covered parking space available! I highly recommend it to every visitor.
