This place is an absolute gem! The owners have restored an old ruin to five star luxury status - everything is brand new and works like a charm. The peace and feeling of space are exceptional - you must try the outdoor bath with views that go on forever! And the night skies will just blow your mind ... The house has uncapped WiFi, super comfortable beds, monogrammed linen, endless hot water for long lazy outdoor baths and it will be incredible in winter with a closed combustion fireplace waiting to warm you after a chilly walk to the river and back. It is a perfect place to hang out with someone special for a few days, or even write that book ... although it is also an easy walk to the Inhoek farmhouse, where the rest of our party were staying,

The cottage is awesome! It is new, very good equipped and comfortable. You can see the river and the sunrise from the bed. The area is very calm and safe. The beautiful Nature Reserve de Hoop is a 1 hour drive on gravel roads away. The host is very friendly and helpful. A must-stay if you like nature and the outback.
