Our incredibly kind host took me through all the family history linked to the property. The furniture in the apartment is fascinating and it felt like taking a step back in time to stay there. It is a very spacious place to stay too. Access to the old bazaar is mere minutes. The view from the back door of the mountains is wonderful and as it was summer when we stayed the wonderful breeze that blew through the property when you opened the back door was a welcome feeling. We booked last minute and the hosts were perfect in helping me. These are super friendly hosts that feel more like family! The place was immaculately clean, place is beautiful inside and out. The heater was brand new and worked very well. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep. I did some work on my computer and the internet was very fast and stable. They have a large tv mounted tastefully on the wall. We had dinner there also and they fixed us a very delicious meal at a great price. We were overwhelmed by the location and view that this great place had over looking the valley and the river with the mountain behind it. It is absolutely worth coming and staying with these great people. Thanks for a wonderful night!!!

Prince Prive Suite exceeded all our expectations! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling – we truly felt at home. We will definitely choose this place again on our next visit to Gjirokastër. Highly recommended!

Aleks and his family were very kind and sweet, and went beyond to give us a good stay. The house is even better than the pictures and very clean. What a treat to stay here. As the climb (on cobble stones) to the bazar was very steep we decided to take the car, which was very doable. Be aware that the apartment is just off the main road, a bit different that google maps.

The location is perfect — surrounded by beautiful mountains that give you a sense of peace and nature, yet only about 7 minutes away from downtown Gjirokastër. It was the ideal balance of quiet and convenience. The house itself was comfortable, clean, and made me feel right at home. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would definitely stay here again
