The property is non-smoking and is situated 12 km from Camosun College. Julia the host was very friendly, she even called and messaged us when she discovered a bag that we had left behind after checking out. Julia had thought of most things one could need. The accommodation consisted of bedroom, lounge/diner and bathroom. Everything was very clean, coffee/tea making facilities, cups etc in lounge. Large TV in lounge, large desk at end of bed. Bed lovely and comfortable. Welcome pastries and milk were found in the fridge. Welcome messages and card signed by all the family found in the lounge. Unit is wedged on a cliff and the view from the balcony is astounding. Even though there are units all around it's very quiet. No noise from neighboring units. Popular spot for fishing. Marina is visible from the unit down below. Close to all nature adventures near Port Renfrew. Swimming lakes and surfing beaches nearby, within a 20-30 minute drive.

The downstairs apartment is clean and feels fresh, the beds were super comfortable (in fact I peeked at the brand so I would know for future mattress purchases) and the whole place is adorably decorated. They are still working on getting the kitchen set up, so if you are coming in the near future, bring meals and foods you can warm up in the microwave, bagels for the toaster, and don’t forget the ice cream which you can have while enjoying the gorgeous view outside your door. Catherine and Jeff were wonderful to work with and very responsive. All around, a wonderful home base for those planning on exploring the beauty of Vancouver Island.

Towels and bed linen are featured in the holiday home. The property offers sea views. It had a nice view of the ferry and the water. Great location to walk down the stairs nearby and be right on the main drag.

The property was attractive, well appointed and comfortable. We loved that we could bring our dog. We loved the artistic decor and comfortable patio. We loved the expresso maker, well stocked frig and the availability of fans.

The area was so quiet while we were there. It was easy to get to and close to the city and ferry. It had a peakaboo view of the ocean as well. The house was well supplied with everything you could need.

Charming "Brass" & "Apple" theme throughout, befitting its name! Located in a quiet & safe residential neighborhood, and yet, just steps away to a park, restaurants, & market. Cottage was sparkling clean with comfy beds, powerful shower & plush towels. Well stocked kitchen & washer/dryer were super helpful for longer stays. Really appreciated modern conveniences (electronic blinds, night lights in bath) & thoughtful small touches (drinks in fridge, cotton pads/swabs in bath, etc). Most importantly, awesome hosts - friendly, accommodating, and proactive. Highly recommend the cottage and will definitely stay again when we return to the area.
