Loved the convenient location, historic hotel with friendly, helpful staff and very peaceful. Coop store nearby and and 1 min walk to train station. Wouldnt expect all the modern comforts but more than enough for a stay in historic hotel in a small village in the middle of Switzerland. Location is convenient, with Montbovon being a change over between golden pass express and La Guyeres .

The location was perfect for 1 night. It's a very small village and can be seen in one day. However it is very beautiful. I would recommend visiting Gruyere.. I would like to visit the area again one day soon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from our room was beautiful.

Good location - handy for parking, bus & village. Friendly & helpful staff. Additional facilities - terrace, sauna etc. ( which we did not use). Bedrooms were spacious.

A nice hotel along the main drag in the quaint and picturesque medieval village of Gruyères. We had a very spacious room offered at a discount, and enjoyed the nice breakfast in the morning well worth the CHF 15 per person.

Picture postcard setting and good location for the village and easy access, if fit and able, to walk to & from The Cheese Factory & train station. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was available at the property if you wanted it. The restaurant attached to the hotel offered us discount during our stay (which was also available in their gift shop in the village). We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent and had stunning views. We spent the afternoon in the village & chateau. Very picturesque, tranquil & peaceful.

Very cute place with exceptionally good shower and well stocked kitchen. The host was very friendly and put out lots of toys and books for our kid. Lovely village and surrounds.

Peaceful, cosy retreat in a lovely little mountain town. Really enjoyed sitting out on the terrace and taking in the view. The bed is very comfy, kitchen is greatly equipped for catering yourselves and the place was super clean.

Great location for visiting the Maison Cailler and Gruyere village. Clean spacious and organised.

Very charming, cosy rooms. We had two interconnecting rooms which were perfect for a family of 4. Good location in the centre of the village. Delicious dinner in the restaurant. Again the decor and charm of the place was perfect.
