This hotel is located in the cutest little village, about 40 minutes from Interlaken. Directly across the train station. Very clean, great breakfast, decorated nicely. Self check-in so you won’t see many staff except for at the breakfast.

Beautifully decorated, quiet, comfortable room. Staff very pleasant. Super shower and bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. Very good breakfast, plenty of choice. Location was excellent, easy to find, right in the village, supermarket and cafe a few metres away, lake just a very short walk away. Underground carpark was a real bonus, safe and secure with easy access to the hotel.

Very luxurious, stunning views, large rooms, fantastic service and delicious breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and eggs to order. We were skiing and the bus stop is right outside the hotel. They even come and pick you up from the village if you need a lift. The spa was superb and the perfect way to recover from a hard day skiing. Totally peaceful at night (as it can be very noisy in the village) Fabulous stay would totally recommend.

Breakfast was good with both hot and cold options. We stayed 1st week of Dec 23 and our room had an amazing view of snow capped Mt Titlis. Engelberg is an idealic village perfect spot for a getaway. Supermarket is 5 mins walk away and eating options as well.

Alpnach Nord is a very cute village with a grocery store and pharmacy very nearby. They close by 7pm but, a little further, there is a convenience store that stays open until 10pm. Modest, but sufficient, breakfast of breads, cheese, fruit, yogurt, musli, juices, and coffee is provided.
