We hired a scooter from a local rental company (Rino’s is best) which allowed us easy access to this stunning property, located in one of the most amazing parts of the island! The house is modern, clean, quiet, and has stunning views. We watched whales from the deck, ate pawpaw fresh from the trees. Our hosts (Simon and Ura) picked us up from the airport and saw us off at the end. Their hospitality during our stay was amazing. They remained in contact to make sure we were happy and assisted us with local recommendations and bookings as well. Absolutely recommend.

Loved everything about this place. We had a beautiful and very well - appointed bungalow where a bowl of fresh local fruit and coconuts from the host's own trees awaited us upon our arrival. The lovely porch was surrounded by flowers. The room was comfortable and pretty and had everything we needed, including a full kitchen and a washing machine. Host was great---very nice, very helpful. The whole experience couldn't have been better.

Comfortable bungalow Had everything we needed. Easy walk to great swimming. Kii took us around the lagoon for snorkeling. Vaea went over the island map so we knew all the things to see.

Covered porch with comfy chairs and a dining table. Perfectly appointed studio cabin with a well equipped full kitchen. A/C. Screened windows. Queen size bed. The back covered porch has a full size washer and clothes line. A real plus for Aitutaki is the strong free wifi. Your delightful host, Kura, will pick you up at the airport and take you to the grocery store if you need it. You can walk to the main small town but renting a scooter or car will let you explore this stunning island. Highly recommended.

It was an unforgettable journey, featuring not only world-class ocean views and lagoons, but also an extremely thoughtful and friendly host. The host provided airport transfers and even took them to the supermarket. During their stay, perhaps due to the intense heat, my mother felt unwell. The host not only provided emergency medication but also drove them to the hospital, reminded my mother to drink plenty of water, and even gave them two coconuts. Every day was filled with the host's heartfelt care. We are extremely grateful.

It’s hands down one of the best beaches we’ve ever visited, with pristine sands and crystal-clear waters that made every moment there magical. The house is fantastic—spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped to provide a cozy and comfortable experience. The cool sea breeze and the thoughtful layout of the house ensured we were always comfortable. It’s clear that Vaa and Joliene have put great effort into making Are Kapakapa a home away from home for their guests. Another highlight of our stay was exploring the fruit trees around the property. The coconuts were a delightful treat, perfect for a refreshing snack after spending time at the beach. Every aspect of Are Kapakapa reflects the love and effort that Vaa and Joliene pour into their hospitality. The combination of the peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and personal touches made our stay truly special.
