Set 1.5 km from the town of Koli, Kolin Lotus Cottages are located close to Lake Pielinen. These self-catering, semi-detached cottages have a children’s playground and BBQ facilities. The cottage was clean, fully equiped, located in really nice place with romantic sceneries and in close location to Koli national park, the sauna was a bit small but still very cozy. The staff was really nice

The location was awesome. It was peaceful but easy to access. It was easy to heat the sauna because everything was ready and there was very good guide book for everything. I slept very well. I enjoyed every minute.

Lovely location, lots of space at the cottage with all facilities including a/c, good sauna, really nice terrace for chilling or eat outside. Owner had boat engines, bikes, supboards and more for rent. The lake is very clear and full of fish. There were some mosquitoes and horseflies but not too many. The lake is quite shallow and there are big rocks at the bottom.

I love guesthouses like this, owned by a small local family business in the Finnish countryside. Idyllic lakeside location, wood-fired sauna, fireplace, terrace. Despite the fact that the cottage is not brand new, you can see that the owners take good care of it, so that the guests have everything they need for their stay.
