The road can be a tad noisy, but it's very quiet at night. If you get up early enough, you'll see the bunnies outside the house. Low tide means massive stretches of sandy beach,perfect for letting your dog just run. The owners are super nice and helpful. Neighbors are quiet. And so many dogs with respectful owners.

The Muncaster Castle is within 37 km of the holiday home. The property is non-smoking and is set 34 km from Lake Windermere. The flat was very spacious and had a nice view of an old cottage across the road. Everything was clean with nice modern fixtures and appliances. Although the flat is right on the roadway, we had no road noise. Having off-street parking was a plus. We also liked having two full bathrooms. The kitchen had everything one would need for a short or long stay with a large refrigerator.
