Auchendennan FarmSelf Catering Cottages offers a beautiful setting in Arden, a short walk from the shores of Loch Lomond and only 2 miles from Balloch. What a lovely property. The studio was spacious and well lit. It was sufficiently stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Everything was clean and beds were super comfy. The private garden was the highlight. Also, although a bit further from the city, which shouldn’t be a problem even if you don’t have a car since cabs are easily available, it was right across the road from the loch. The farm right outside the cottages was lovely. Peaceful location.

Sue and her husband were such lovely hosts, friendly, helpful, and very warm and easy. As were the dogs. The cottage was recently renovated and everything worked well. The bed in primary bedroom is very firm. The out of the way location was perfect for us. Super quiet but only a 15 minute drive to the cute village of balmaha and nearby larger village of Drymen. Also the Ben Lomond hike trailhead was a 5 minute drive up the road. Perfect!
