Great location, central and close to Kirkwall but also spacious with off street parking on driveway. View of harbour from front windows. The house was clean, recently refurbished and well thought out. Kitchen / utility had quality appliances and everything we needed. Immediate response from host when we needed it, easy check in / check out and clear instructions. Lots of attention to detail, including lovely planting in the garden.

It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very well equipped – everything we needed was there. The location was incredibly peaceful, perfect for families with children. The shower – hands down the best we had on the whole journey! The host was very friendly and helpful, which made us feel even more welcome. Highly recommended.

Housed in a building dating from 1900, this holiday home is 19 km from Ring of Brogdar and 16 km from Orkney Fossil and Heritage Centre, Burray. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Scapa Beach is 2.7 km away. We arrived late via the ferry and this place was perfect, as it was close. A big bonus was the basket of goodies that our host left!
