It has been beautifully restored keeping original Venetian features whist combining all of the mod cons you would want. It has all the amenities you could need and was a very comfortable place to stay for the three nights we were in Chania. Gianna and her family were the perfect hosts. The communication was fantastic from the moment of booking our stay and she was in hand with any questions or help I needed with things like booking car hire. We arrived at almost midnight after a late flight and she greeted us cheerfully at the door. It was a lovely touch having a bottle of fizz in the fridge to enjoy. The location is perfect, surprisingly peaceful for how central it is. The breakfast provided by the restaurant downstairs was also an added bonus. We would not hesitate to return or recommend this place.

They gave us home-baked muffins, wine and olive oil. They did offer to clean during the middle of our weeklong stay but we didn’t find that necessary. They also provided clean bath towels and extra garbage bags. We asked for a late check out on our last day which they readily obliged. I would recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting. Crete itself is wonderful and so is this villa.
