Both drivers had good English and were reasonably priced. Thank you very much to Dolvi (staff at Ara) for driving us and being so patient with the construction on the way and driving us to dinner that evening. - Large, spacious and clean room. - Beautiful surrounding gardens. The properties back on to a bamboo forest and river. - Simple and nice breakfast. We were served fresh avocado which came from the tree on-site. - Recommend to visit the spider web rice fields which are close by.

Very friendly, inviting and welcoming family. Irwan helps out planning your stay and can arrange everything for you. Ernesta is a great cook and dancer, and their 2 kids are a joy! We visited the “hobbit cave”, the Ramenese lake and did the flyingfox zipline and the traditional market at Ruteng. And to top it all off we where invited to a local wedding party 🥳!! How special is that! We loved staying with this beautiful family.

Kindly let us stay all day until our evening flight at no extra charge (as no new guests arriving that day) and complementary shuttle to and from nearby airport. A wonderful stay in a truly special property.
