The hosts are incredibly welcoming, serving excellent home-cooked Indonesian meals, even fresh-caught fish grilled over a BBQ for lunch, and delicious cakes at coffee time. The coral reef just in front of the houses is vibrant and full of marine life, and the beach is always kept spotless. The entire family helps run the homestay, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Guests can enjoy captivating live music played on handmade instruments and take part in thoughtfully organized day trips for birdwatching, waterfall hikes, and more—all with pristine rainforest just steps from their doorstep.

Luky, our host, was absolutely wonderful, he took us on so many activities and was an excellent guide, always making sure we had the best experience. His whole family was incredibly kind and welcoming. The homestay itself was beautifully decorated with care, and they even prepared a mattress on the balcony so we could relax facing the stunning view. We were warmly welcomed with fresh coconuts upon arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. The meals were varied and absolutely delicious every day, and everything was clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. We truly had a magical time and felt at home. I can’t recommend their kindness, hospitality, and the comfort of this homestay enough!

This homestay on Besir island is ideally located near several interests spots in Raja Ampat. The place is calm, only two cabins on the water, connected to a village full of charm. The utilities are on the beach, near the owner's house. It's very clean and has everything required to answer basic needs. Regarding the rooms, mosquito net on the bed, fan, electricity at night, blankets, hammock, sunbed and basic furnitures. All the meals (included in the reservation) are served to your cabin, they vary and are prepared by an great cook! So everything is tasteful and good. No connection except if you get a SIM card on arrival at Sorong's airport but deconnection is great. It's easy to communicate with the owner who speaks well English (rare in Raja Ampat) and he tries his best for you to have the best stay possible. Him and his family are super nice and welcoming while respecting your privacy. I came with a friend and we stayed 3 full days, we had an amazing time there and we can only recommend this place. All the activities we've done through them were memorable, we had a lot of fun. Have a good holiday there!

For guests with children, Raja Ampat Blue Sea features an indoor play area and babysitting service. With an outdoor fireplace and a picnic area, this holiday home offers ample opportunities to unwind. Hidden in the mangroves, this homestay is comfortable, has an excellent house reef and is near a local village. A short walk to get extra supplies. However, it is Paulus and his family that makes the Blue Sea the place to stay. The food is excellent and any excursion by long boat is quickly arranged at a fair price. If you ask nicely, Paulus will take you to his special snorkelling spots. They never disappointed. Highly recommended for an affordable Raja Ampat experience.

Located in Tapokreng, a few steps from Saleo Beach and 2.3 km from Saprokren Beach, Mamatua N Saleo Villa offers a garden and air conditioning. I choosed this Hotel for my last nights in Raja Ampat, because there is AC, Wifi and it's close to the ferry port. Room was great! Bed comfortable, AC works great, nice view from the terrace. Wifi stable. All staff members were super friendly, nice and helpful. Food was amazing, best I had in RA. They even did my laundry for free. The beach is a dream and near the jetty from another Resort close by, there are amazing corals, very good snorkeling opportunities. Area is secluded, very quiet, just a few other Homestays, nice kids all around. Tours to Kali Biru or Birds of paradise are available. I can not say thank you enough for these great days.

Facing the seafront in Yennanas Besir, Efenli Arnes homestay has a private beach area and a terrace. This holiday home offers free private parking and full-day security. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The homestay is idyllic and secluded. We were right on the water, the porch is nicely decorated, there's a table and chairs so in the evenings we could easily play cards. In the day, if we weren't diving with Corepen (they come and collect you and drop you off), we would snorkel on the coral reef in front of the homestay which is fantastic! We saw a turtle, ray, squid, clown fish, a shark etc. All three meals are included and Lina's cooking is amazing. We would eat fresh fish everyday. Portion size is very generous so you won't be going hungry. Lina and Arnes are so kind and gentle hosts we couldn't recommend this more. Their English is very limited so just make sure you download a translator app if you don't have data (there's no WiFi). The amenities are basic and you get electricity from around 6:30pm-10:30pm but for us, this only added to its charm. When we passed other homestays, we were always grateful for picking Efenli.
