The beds were comfortable and the whole place very warm. The facilities suited our needs perfectly. Close to the station, good and sightseeing. It was a quiet location and we had plenty of space. Oh, this place is both charming with its atmosphere of old-time Japan, as well as greatly located if you are for visiting nearby located old post towns of Tsumago or Magome. Spacious rooms with comfy futons, endless spaces with bedrooms, living room, bathrooms and - which was a fantastic discovery - a Japanese style all wooden bathroom with a bathtub. This was such a relaxing experience after we travelled from the north. 7-eleven is at walking distance, the host is extremely helpful, free parking space just 50m from this beautiful wooden, old, atmospheric, all Japanese style house. We loved everything about it - it had even the hearth in the middle of the living room, like the ones you'd see in the samurai movies. We felt as if we travelled back in time for 200 years! We simply loved it!
