They were very welcoming of us, and allowed us to store our luggages before the checkin time. He carefully explained how to use the appliances in the hanok, and even ensured we got on the right taxi as we were leaving. Highly recommend if you want a modern, yet cozy and relaxing hanok experience!

The property is set less than 1 km from Jeonju Fan Culture Center, a 11-minute walk from Jeonju Sori Culture Centre and 500 metres from Jeonju Natural Ecology Museum. Hanbyeokdang Pavillion is 400 metres from the holiday home. The home accommodated a full family, as we booked the whole home, which could be divided into two rental spaces. It's a traditional, old home where you sleep on a padding/futon on the floor. The floors are extremely clean. Shoes are left outside to not track dirt inside. This is a rustic accommodation with amenities. It's not a modern home. It is more like a summer-camp cabin, less like a hotel or urban rental apartment. The ceiling is low so a guest 6 foot tall and taller will manage but may not be comfortable in the kitchen/bathroom area. The house is on a steep, short hill so people with physical disabilities or poor fitness will need to take time. Not compatible for people using a wheelchair or walker. Avoid bringing heavy suitcases. The left side (when facing the home) kitchen and bathroom area is narrow and would be uncomfortable for larger sized people. The right side kitchen and bathroom area is more accommodating for larger sized people. The kitchens are mini so we used them to store leftover food and breakfast fruits and coffee. We ate at restaurants for lunch and dinner. The street parking is at the bottom of the hill, has a parking attendant puts a timed arrival ticket on your car window and charged us 50 percent of the usual fee when we told them we were staying at this house. It is not free parking. The location is very convenient to the tourist area and the rest of the city. It's a good way to experience a traditional home. The host was wonderful.

Very comfortable room with a lovely view over the Hanok Village. Breakfast was great too
Authentic & atmospheric stay in quiet part of Hanok Village with super welcoming owners One of the highlights of our trip!
Location is excellent. We wanted to experience more typical accommodation in the Jeonju Hanok village and the Pungnam House did provide us with that authenticity, at a good price point.
Korean breakfast very good. Beautiful hanok and good location in hanok village.
The hosts were super friendly and helpful, they recommended us great restaurant options. We were able to check in a bit earlier, which was very comfortable. The breakfast and the lunch package were also nice and the location of the guesthouse is very central in the hanok village, everything in walking distance.
It was so beautiful and clean, the location was amazing and we all enjoyed the village. The owner was very nice and attentive, they always replied quickly and kindly. They had very nice attention to detail (charging cables, mosquito repelent,..) and we especially loved the free coffee machine and cold water that was at our disposal.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant location right in the centre of Jeonju Hanok Village. Highly recommend.
We booked the luxury family suite and it was spacious and well equipped, with a loft, water dispenser, small kitchen and refrigerator. The host was excellent. Very humorous and one who knows where all the best food are. He gave a comprehensive brief of all the attractions, restaurants and snacks within the Hanok village. We stayed for 3 nights and effort was made to serve us a different main course each morning for breakfast. The double bed was a bonus.
This is a 150 year old Hanok with such charm and loved the experience of the culture. The futon is on the floor but it is heated! functional bathroom with hot powerful shower. Fantastic location to explore the village. Owner was so friendly, funny and helpful. Gives you a postcard to send home, be interesting to see when it arrives! Be warned don’t expect 5* luxury or comfort just bring your taste of adventure and embrace the experience and have a couple of rice wines before bed!! 😀
