Kind owner couldn't do enough for us. Genuinely cold water in the filter which is free. Worth noting this is a little guesthouse off the beaten track, as with everything on the island. High ratings are not for luxury, but for luxury in backpacking terms. If you're a backpacker, this is a very clean, very nice stay

We stayed at the hotel on our last night of the Bolaven loop and after some pretty basic accommodation Sabaidee Valley was a little piece of luxury. The bungalow was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. The pool is fantastic and the cocktails were great. The staff are extremely friendly

Nice services (booking transport via Mekong to Mueang Village to ketch the bus to DonDet or getting a motorbike), restaurant was really good and prices ok, pool was nice. On the first night our room was quite noisy and a change on the next day was not a problem. Staff was nice and helpful.

Beautiful retreat, not much comparable in the area. Indoor and outdoor shower. Pool with an amazing view. Small shop just on the other side of the road for drinks, cigarettes or whatever you need. Really friendly staff from the neatby villages/town. Quiet and comfortable. Good food at the restaurant, breakfast was good

It was simple but everything what you need. Back to the roots! No luxury - if you need this you are at the wrong place and island. Good bed, but no extra bedsheets. Very good cafe- brilliant start in a relaxing day, my advise: start like this every day. Nice conversation with the owner. You also get good tips and he organized things if you need anything. While a little isolated, Sabaidee Valley is in beautiful location. Our one-bedroom villa was perched on the edge of a hill, and the balcony offered sweeping views of the lush valley below and hills beyond - perfect for early morning coffee and evening glass of wine! The pool was marvelous!
