We left for our safari early so sadly did not get to try breakfast, but were very satisfied by the room, and appreciated the warm reception/ extra care the staff gave to our family! While there was no common space (think motel style rooms that spit out onto a outside porch) we were only there one night and it suited our needs well. The safari company was able to pick us up from this location so all worked well.

This place is a heaven on earth! We stayed longer than planned because we felt so well here that we didn't want to leave... Without exageration, Mahesh is the best host we have ever met in our traveler life, he thinks about everything to make your stay perfect. The house is new and very comfortable, well located near all Sigiriya interest points and in a quiet area but not far from a city and local restaurants. But believe me, you won't need to go to a restaurant... We did one night and we immediately regreted it because the dishes prepared by Mahesh and his wife were way better! Also breakfasts were sooo generous that we didn't even need to have lunch after. We also shared some wonderful personal moments with all the family that we will never forget 🥰 My tips for your stay : - Ask Mahesh in advance if you need the swimming pool ready when you arrive - Have at least one diner there! You won't regret it 😉 - Ask his son Kevin to teach you how to play the local game Carrom, he is a very good player, good luck if you want to beat him! - Don't miss the local shower experience to the lake not far from the house.
