I had also birthday during our stay and the hotel staff prepared a wonderful dinner right at the sea, with Prosecco and wonderful decoration (it was a surprise: they wrote “Happy Birthday” and my name with little stones - very accurate and with details) and a cake special for me (they need to buy it outside!) It was really a wonderful stay :-)

Unawatuna Beach is a 10-minute drive away while it takes 15 minutes by car to reach Galle Fort. We were blown away by our stay at Villa White Queen! Our room was incredibly spacious and felt truly luxurious. The staff were exceptional—so friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The beautiful garden provides a tranquil setting to relax or enjoy a delicious breakfast. The pool is large and sparkling clean, perfect for a refreshing dip. The location is excellent; it's just a short tuk-tuk ride away from the historic Galle Fort. For the price, this level of quality is outstanding. We highly recommend this gem!

Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's. It is a three minute walk to the Unawatuna Beach and a 15 minute drive away from the historic 16th - 17th century Galle Fort. Absolutely beautiful Hotel. I would like this to be my home. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is in this area.

The host was incredibly accommodating, fulfilling our additional requests and responding promptly to all our needs throughout our stay. The villa is neatly maintained and well-equipped. The patio area provided a lovely outdoor space for our group to gather, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The host also arranged generous breakfast portions for us each morning, which was a great touch.
