We spent a week at Three Gables and it’s easily one of the nicest stays we’ve ever had. With only four boutique rooms, from the moment you arrive it feels like you’re at your own home — exactly what the team invited us to do upon our arrival. Every member of the Three Gables team paid meticulous attention to all facets of our stay, including the very smallest of details, to make our time there truly special. Beyond organizing transport and arranging massages, Dinuka, the food and beverage manager, organized a private Sri Lankan cooking demonstration and feast for us. Speaking of the food, it was phenomenal! Each day, breakfast came with a choice of fresh tropical juices, selection of local teas, and a Sri Lankan fruit plate. Beyond that, the choice was between an English-style breakfast (best-in-class eggs, waffles, and oatmeal) and a Sri Lankan curry breakfast consisting of four or five dishes. Whichever you choose, you won’t be disappointed! If you’re thinking to book a Sri Lanka stay beside the sea, do yourself a favour and book Three Gables. For us, it scores a perfect 10!

Location is the best, right outside the Forest Reserve, next to a river with lots of beautiful birds. The tour is great too!

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans cet hôtel. Le personnel était aux petits soins, toujours serviable et souriant, ce qui a rendu notre expérience encore plus agréable. Un immense merci à Vishva qui s’est occupée de nous avec une grande attention et à Thamisha, le chef, qui s’est parfaitement adapté à nos besoins alimentaires (vegan) en nous régalant de plats délicieux et savoureux. Le spa est également très agréable, idéal pour se détendre après une belle journée. Un véritable plaisir du à la fin. Merci pour tout, nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

L’établissement Kingsman Villa se situe à Mirissa (Matara), à proximité de ce lieu d’intérêt : Plage de Weligama. We stayed at Kingsman Villa for four nights, and it was absolutely perfect! The owner, Kasun, is such a kind and humble host—always ready to help with anything. The villas are brand new and have everything you need: quiet air conditioning, excellent bathroom facilities, and even a private mini pool, which was perfect for cooling off after a beach day or workout. There are also smaller rooms available if you prefer. Kasun arranged a scooter for us and a tuk-tuk for our departure, making everything super easy. They also organize river tours, which is a great extra touch. Breakfast was included, and every day we got to choose from a menu. We already miss the banana pancakes and chocolate-banana roti—so delicious! Kasun even helped with surprising my boyfriend for his birthday during breakfast and even got him a gift—such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. If we ever come back to Sri Lanka, we will definitely stay here again. Don’t hesitate—just book your stay at Kingsman Villa!
