João was the best host and was so kind to drive us to Sagres and share a lot about Portuguese culture with us! I wish we could have spent more time with him.

Featuring a garden and views of pool, Herdade de Vale Maceiras is a holiday home set in a historic building in Santiago do Cacém, 22 km from Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina. The views were amazing, the place was immaculate and Vasco (the owner) was super friendly and available to help with anything we might need. The place has AC and there’s also a clean pool that had cristal clear water in it even though it’s February and it’s definitely not swimming season here in Portugal! P.s.: Being able to watch the sunrise from our doorstep was just the icing on the cake ;)

Salva and his team created a wonderful and super cozy Glamping accommodation! The tent was very comfortable to sleep in, as well as the rest of the amenities (the "living room", rooftop terrace and outdoor showers) were well designed. The owner and employee helped us with recommendations about hikes and beaches.

We definitly can recommend and would come back.

Just a lovely warm little house tucked away down a side street ...yes we really liked it
