The property was cozy and provided a wonderful connection to nature and above our expectations. The view of the Northern Lights from the house was breathtaking, and the peaceful surroundings made it an ideal getaway and a perfect Christmas.

We had one of the glass igloos facing the river and spent 4 wonderful nights there. We saw the aurora on all four nights. The igloo comes with a small kitchenette and emergency toilet. There is a really comfortable and cozy common house with a kitchen, toilet and luxurious breakfast. Tony and all the staff are super approachable and helpful. We had the sauna and barbeque at the camp which were amazing experiences. We saw a grand show of the Northern Lights on our last day there and the best part was that we could enjoy it from the warmth of our room. There are lots of fun activities at the camp and around it. I would highly recommend the Husky sledding.

The property is very spacious, quiet, clean and cozy. It provides everything you need when travelling. It was the best night sleep we’ve had in the past 7 days , and we had stayed in some expensive hotels. As you have the house all to yourself without other guests’ noise from different directions. We’d always been a bit concerned about staying in private properties as we worried about checking in process. But you don’t need to worry about it for this property, as the owner lives close by, and the email instructions for checking in is very clear. The owners are very friendly while valuing your privacy. One of the most splendid rentals I have ever booked! What a surprise the location was, a beautiful island north of Ornskolvic. Cozy and comfy, extremely well equipped kitchen with lovely plates. Everything and more, especially the location—magical. I wish I could have spent more time. Beyond a 10–perfect! And the dogs were happy, too!
