The kitchen was stocked with essentials for cooking and there was a Keurig coffee pot for the morning caffeine needs. With three full bathrooms, we didn’t have to fight for space in the showers after the Napa2Sonoma half marathon. We enjoyed the sun out on the deck and relaxing in the hot tub. The beds were comfortable, and everything was sparkling clean.

The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, and a short walk from Dolores Park, a BART station, and the dining and retail on Castro. The apartment itself is amazing! We were immediately pleasantly surprised by how high the ceilings are, as it's not apparant in the photos of the space. The fixtures, appliances, and furniture is all new and quality, and the space includes a few real luxuries - I didn't know I wanted a heated bathroom floor, but I want one now! In general, the details reflect how much the hosts love the space and want to share their affection - be sure to turn on the backlit wall in the bedroom, as it's a unique feature.

The house is very tastefully designed and located right across from a beautiful beach (though you'll need to walk about 10 minutes up the road to access it via a stairway off Highway 1). Everything we could have needed was provided - firewood, a water purifier, coffee machine, pots and pans. etc. Some people might take it for granted that all of this would be available, but I've stayed in self-catering places that often have some crucial convenience missing. Everything here was taken care of, and to an excellent standard. I really appreciate the thought and care that Jeff and Dara put into their rental property and would gladly stay there again on a future trip to Bodega Bay.
