The keys were in a locker box was very easy to enter the home. The place is very big with nice beds. the kids loved the pool. The neighborhood was quiet en close to shops.

Above all, I could feel the host's thoughtful consideration. It was clean, and everything needed for the stay was prepared in advance. There was a backyard, and parking was convenient as well. Very close by (1-2 minutes by car), there are Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Starbucks, Peet's Coffee, Handel's Ice Cream (highly recommended), Vroman's Bookstore, bakeries, and Habit Burger, Hook Burger, In-N-Out Burger (slightly farther than the other two), gas stations, and more.

The property has a beautiful garden and patio, excellent for reading, bird watchig and dolce far niente. We had our aunt with us (96 years old) who also loved the place. We enjoyed eating outside in the patio. A very well-stocked kitchen, we even made cookies... Shops, bakeries, restaurants are in walking distance. We highly recommend Vince's Market, 3250 Silver Lake Blvd, a small grocery store in the neighborhood, they also have good meat for tacos, for avocados ask at the store checkout.

Very peaceful with a vast array of birds that frequent the garden. We spent most of our time in the garden watching the hummingbirds and mockingbirds flying about, thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
