Very cute place to stay, clean with pleasant staff. Nice that there is a restaurant as well, which is convenient. We were given a lock up garage for our motorbike which my husband was really happy about. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Christian was so helpful and he helped us move our very heavy suitcases to a suitable room.. and took us to the train station.... very helpful!!
I can find nothing negative to say about Melk. We totally enjoyed our stay and all of the attractions that were easily accessible. We eat at local restaurants and the food was excellent. The train station was within walking distance. The river cruise to Krems was amazing. I would do it all again.

Very nice small town. We really enjoyed the Abby tour.
Very nice small town. We really enjoyed the Abby tour. We also enjoyed the old downtown and all the sites and stores. We were there during the Christmas holiday break so some stores and restaurants were closed but that did no deter us. Would like to visit in the spring and summer.

We only had to spend a Friday night in Melk but once arrived (although pretty late), we got out to take a walk. We were impressed by the tranquility of the old town's city center and had a very nice dinner at Venezzia Restaurant (if you don't have to, don't go to the bathroom there :)). We'll be back to visit the Abbey!

Melk abbey is spectacular and a must-see.
Melk abbey is spectacular and a must-see. The town is very pretty and a great place to wander around for an hour or two. There were some nice restaurants and bars, but many places were closed for the season (January). You can see the abbey and town in an afternoon, but there are other places in the surrounding countryside if you stay longer.
This apartment is absolutely huge, and very beautiful. It's in a late-Victorian villa, just opposite the station, yet there is no noise from the trains! Very accessible for the Stift Melk and the many places to eat in the historic, small town. The owners are lovely people: as soon as we got off the train, they were waiting to welcome us. The property has a beautiful garden and has absolutely everything you could need for your stay. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.
Easy booking and check in and out was well organised. The building had been beautifully restored and the apartment was spacious, well laid out, spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and had everything we needed. The building is situated in the old town of Melk and was ideal for sightseeing and visiting Melk Abbey. Peter and Alexandra could not have been more helpful and we would like to thank them both for the kindness and help they gave us.
Very nice hotel in the center of Melk, close to the monastery and to others shops, cafes, restaurants. The room was very good, clean, confortable. The bathroom is ok, simple but your have all you need. The bed is good, the pillows not great but ok. Breakfast very nice, excellent coffee. Hôtel’s restaurant is very nice, tasty food and correct service, we loved our waiter Joseph, he was very helpful and attentive. Congratulations!
Melk is a major tourist draw, and there are a lot of places to stay. We were very happy with this one. The building is very interesting, the location is outstanding with a view of the abbey from our window, it has a good restaurant and gelato on the street. room was spacious, architecturally interesting with arched ceilings, and well appointed. A repeater if we are ever back in Melk.
Very beautiful apartment, modern design, with the view of the church in the middle of old town, very close to all the restaurants and the Abbey.
Sparkly clean, new furniture, great design, it had two bathrooms which it was a surprise. Very well equipped kitchen. The point of contact for the apartment was very helpful and answered all our questions. We will book there again.
Lovely staff, excellent food, comfy room: this is an excellently run hotel in the heart of Melk. We were warmly welcomed at Reception and given a lovely room. The dinner was gorgeous with plenty of local produce and dishes to choose from. Breakfast was also beautifully varied. Very highly recommended.
The room was nice with lots of spaces to store items. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated the corner room windows, so that there was a cross breeze in the evening. There was free parking outside the pension. The city center, restaurants, and abbey were within ten minutes walking distance.
Everything about this hotel was amazing! Freshly roasted coffee every week, breakfast included, spectacular, picturesque location and the owner was very kind and helpful. If you’re debating booking this- don’t! It’s a beautiful little town and this is the perfect place to stay!
We absolutely love Wachau! we always stop there for one night when passing through Austria. Clean, comfortable rooms, incredibly helpful staff, very good breakfast with an amazing view on the terrace
The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was very good.
The location is excellent, at few meters of Melk Monastery, in the middle of the town.
The room was not so big, but clean.
Clean simple room in city center. Walking distance to Melk Abbey and many cafes and restaurants. We enjoyed overnight stay with self check -in and parking infront of the property.
Nice location, well equiped appartment, spacious bathroom, possibility to use calm garden.
Close to the centre, walking distance to Melk abbey and river cruises.
