The location was amazing - like a fairly tale! Charming church bells. Music in the square. Restaurants a plenty right outside the door. Parking was helpful. We loved the room's querkiness. We loved meeting the owners doggies!

Absolutely stunning nature. Great restaurants. Great biking , hiking, boating. We visited on the shoulder season. I think it might be quite crowded in tourist season. However, we had to deal with spring rains.

Absolutely a great place to stay with welcoming host’s that a very lovely family orientated that if you need advice help nothing is to much trouble. Rooms are lovely with balcony and views to wow you. Ifs a very comfortable bed best night sleep I have had in ages the whole place is amazing extremely clean in fact I go to say not a bit of dust or mould to be seen. It’s not far from shops bank and the lake and lots to do there, the breakfast is lovely and a wide range of choices and juice and the biggest selection of tea I have see. Definitely top of any places I have stayed the friendliest and cleanest I will definitely be back and definitely recommend without hesitation thanks for making me feel welcome
- great location to all three lakes in the area
- Wolfgangsee aprox. 300 m with hotel private beach, which was great (you need to ask for a key, we did not get one, but fellow occupants let us in :)
- transport ship to St. Wolfgang 100-200 m for 15 EUR (two way ticket) for two adults and you are in this very nice town in 5 minutes :-)
- breakfast regular (mixed eggs, bacon, selection of canned fruits and vegetables, etc...)
- staff very pleasant, kind and helpful
- big room, very traditional with great view
Very clean and nicely made apartment, it felt like being in a beautiful Austrian cottage. We had no lake view but the lake was a minute walk and the center of town was also very close. There is also easy parking.
I wanted to show my wife Salzburg but the accomodation there was double the price. We decided to stay here and take bus to Salzburg. But St Gilgen and the neighbooring villages (linked by cruise boat) are less crowdy, more beautiful with fewer tourists. Halstatt is also 30 minutes from there
The highlight of the guesthouse is the public spaces - our balcony, the area directly outside the hotel, the kitchen - all were really nice. The size of the room was also a plus, with more than enough space for the two of us and our large bags. Also, while they didn't provide a huge variety of toiletries, what they did provide was more than we could possibly need.
St. Gilgen is a lovely little town and this is a good home base. Note, however, that the town seems to essentially shut down on Sundays
Beautiful property, located right in the heart of Sankt Gilgen. the breakfast is absolutely delicious and the hospitality was warm.
It felt really good to come back to our room every evening and pass out to the view of the alps, as there were large windows and a balcony door made of glass. Also loved waking up in the morning to the mist and clouds right in front of us. The hotel staff kept everything very neat and clean, and smelling great 😊
The hotel is located in a very beautiful and quiet village, but has easy access to bus and ferry. The room is very clean and has balcony. The room is very big with good ventilation and sunshine. The staff is very friendly and are glad to help you book activities. The restaurant offers delicious local food and it is also very affordable. This is also a family owned hotel and all the family members are very welcoming.
Staff super kind. Only 15 min walk to the lake with a small river passing by the hotel backyard (nice water flow sound during the night) .. amazing Mountain view from the room's. balcony, great for wine and some cheese with a good conpany.
Had a good swimming pool.
Good breakfast.
Free and safe parking.
Good size bathroom.
Great stay..
Amazing views from the hotel room and balcony. One of the best locations in town if you want a view. 5 minute walk into town. Bathroom has been recently renovated. Everything was very clean. Host was very welcoming and had a lot of knowledge about town. Would love to stay here again. Very good value for money.
Nice hotel with great location - in the village center and very close to the lake. The staff was really kind and the room was spacious, clean and cozy. Good breakfast with great variety. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the food was very delicious.
We could not get into the room until 4pm.nobody was at the hotel at 2pm. A funeral crowd made so much noise at 9 pm that I had to godown in my underwear making a complaint.
10pm the noise stopped. This was the worst place we stayed.not recommended…
Beautiful property, room & location! Nadia, her husband & daughter Georgia were such wonderful hostess of this beautiful hotel! They would go out of their way to help!! I would come back to St Gilgen and stay at Hotel Radetzky in a heartbeat!
The location is amazing. The view from the room is exceptional. The lake is just a few meters from the hotel, you can jump in a then lay back on the shore.
Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. Room was clean and modern.
Great location directly in center of St. Gilgen. Accomodation is in typical austrian style. Staff is friendly and breakfast is delicious with wide selection of austrian specialities.
Excellent location of the hotel! Comfortable stay, friendly staff, delicious breakfast! Special thanks to the owner of the hotel for the attentive attitude to the guests!
A very beautiful and well maintained place. There is a very nice restaurant in the hotel. The shower is spacious, new and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent
