We loved this holiday home. It was spacious with lovely furnishings. With scenic Bay views, it was a lovely sea change for us. The spacious balcony was a delightful space to relax and enjoy the great outdoors.
The home was very well equipped and beyond our expectations. There was something for everyone. From a coffee machine to a well equipped space for children with board games and an upstairs space to spend some quiet time. We really had a very enjoyable stay.

Comfortable property very close to St Helens. Had everything you needed and the hosts were great showing us how to feed all of the animals. My boys loved it.
We stayed to visit mum in the nursing home in St Helens.
We stayed to visit mum in the nursing home in St Helens. We only live one & a half hours drive away and they made us feel most welcomed. We would have liked to stay an extra night and they tried to accommodate us but unfortunately they were fully booked out the following night. Queechy seems to be very popular as I have viewed booking in the past but they have always been booked out.

St Helens is a cute town on the east coast of Tasmania.
It is an ideal location to stay for a few days and venture into the interior and other interesting places to visit around the town.
Just don't eat at the RSL. I expected more seafood to be available.
Pick up some tasty take away from the special section at the front of the IGA in the mall.
Towns and cities have a strange idea about disability access.

Lovely town with great eateries.
Lovely town with great eateries. The IGA had a variety of salads, the larger one not the small on main road that offered fresh salads. Great board walk around the water.
The Tasman Holiday park was modern, good facilities, a view of the water and quiet. This was our first ever stay in one and we were impressed with the cabin and the price.

St Helen’s is the central services community for many nearby small holiday hamlets. It has good supermarkets and an excellent provedore plus restaurants and most of the service facilities a holiday maker would need. There are interesting and varied beaches in the area and plenty of boating & fishing for those who enjoy these pursuits. Plenty to like, we did not find anything to dislike.

St Helens is a pretty coastal town with a great bakery - Banjos! It is also the gateway to the Bay of Fires which is an absolutely stunning place, even had a swim in warmish - 19 degrees water st gorgeous Binalong Bay.
We loved our stay at this comfortable holiday home in St Helens. The house is big and was stocked with everything you could need, from kitchen appliances to board games. The hosts were extremely accomodating and replied promptly, even on Xmas eve. I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but we really enjoyed our stay here and everyone agreed that this was our favourite accomodation out of the 5 that we booked for our week long Tassie trip.
We really liked the location and the style of the accommodation.
It was nice that there was some tea bags & some sugar, together with a few other pantry items.
There was plenty of wood for the fire, however, we didn't use any.
I was surprised to see that the property had a sauna, but again, we didn't use it.
Good Wifi and reasonable phone reception.
St. Helens has the BEST french restaurant in town.... a "must" to try.
The cabins were fresh and new with heaps of space. Two of us could easily stretch out on the couch and we felt so relaxed. The restaurant had a great selection of vegetarian food and my veg curry was delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful with great tips for our drive to Launceston. We will definitely come back and plan to use this place as a base for exploring the north east of Tasmania.
Many thanks to Attila for the warm introduction.
When our group arrived at the hotel, Attila gave us a detailed introduction of where the restaurants are better and where the scenery is worth seeing. Not only the local ones but also the whole of Tasmania were introduced, which gave us a clearer understanding of many things that were not available from public introductions.

We loved our stay at Pelican Point ,especially looking at the bird life and the pond outside the lounge windows . It was such a peaceful place to stay in . I thought the scenery was going to be quite rugged being in a bird sanctuary but we were really surprised by how nice it is . Also the town of St Helens is nice as well . We hope to be back if we come to Tasmania again .
The owner gave us a great tip where to eat and it was perfectly romantic. He also pointed out the trails on his property and I made use of them. The Blue wren cottage is unassuming from the outside but is immaculate inside. Both of us slept soundly on probably the most comfortable bed during our month long tour of Victoria and Tasmania. There are 2 towns within 9 kilometers.
We stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip around Tassie. There were chocolates and sparkling waiting for us which was such a special touch (thank you!!)
The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the kitchenette was really handy. If we stayed longer we would have used the outdoor BBQs!
Would definitely recommend staying here.
Everything thus was a gem in our travel around Tasmania, highly recommend a stay here we could only book one night so suggest you book early. Close to attractions, great water view, comfortable couch easy access to free laundry facilities, good parking.
The hotel is really conveniently situated - only a minute's stroll from the business district. The staff is very friendly and the room was well maintained and very clean. The restaurant is great, too - we thoroughly enjoyed both meals we had there.
Like everything in the above property. It is perfect and amazing experience staying in such accommodation. Like hotel but better than hotel. I got a feeling that this property must be managed & cleaned up by a professional team.
The room felt very luxurious and made us feel we were at a luxury hotel. I wish we had stayed more than 1 night. We also appreciated pod coffee machine. Great location, walking distance to everything in St Helens.
The location was great. Close to the hotel but still quiet. The room was recently refreshed. Self-serve laundry facilities available at minimal cost. The bed was comfortable and had good quality sheets and linen.
We loved the warm welcome from the owner Attila. Our room was cosy and felt more like hotel than motel with the convince of parking in front of the room. We had everything we needed for our stay.
Great location! Very clean and
comfortable. Well equiped kitchenette.
BBQ and laundry facilities are a great
addition. The restaurant next to the
hotel was fantastic.
