Best place about this hotel is location. It is a quiet street but very very close to the absolute center. Also, if you arrive by car, parking is free just on the streets next to the hotel.
For my dates it was also the cheapest hotel in the city center, so for a longer stay this was a needed point.

Spa was small but cosy and had all the basic things a nice spa should have: an indoor and outdoor pool, couple of saunas and a jacuzzi.

We got what we wish to have. Nice room, nice view through the window, nice swimming pool and saunas, good breakfast.
The 4-star Georg Ots Spa Hotel is just 55 yards from the yacht marina and the beach in Kuressaare. The historic Kuressaare Castle is .25 miles from the property.

Super helpful staff and nice choices for breakfast (lots of local produce, try the strawberry jam with pancakes). The view from our balcony was nice. It is walking distance to the castle and beach. The hotel restaurant had excellent food and fresh raspberry-lemon lemonade. Free parking outside the hotel. The rooms had a very nice ambience and design, as well as quality building materials. For readers there was nice lighting around the bed.
Saaremaa Meri Seaside Hotel & SPA is located on a beautiful seaside promenade close to the beach 328 feet away. The Hotel is also 1640 ft from Kuressaare city center and 328 ft from Kuressaare castle...
The city Kuressaare is seen in a day, it's very small.
The city Kuressaare is seen in a day, it's very small. It does have very cute terrasses and a beautiful castle. If you have a car, then the island is very enjoyable to explore, with nature reserves, hiking routes and beautiful coastlines. I did not have a car, and rented a bike. This did not help very much, because many interesting things to do are too far away with a bike and public transport is not sufficient on Saaremaa. So I'd recommend hiring a car or coming by car.

Kuressaare Castle is promoted as a top attraction in Estonia...
Kuressaare Castle is promoted as a top attraction in Estonia. I would say that the Castle surrounds were very good, but my man would say only good. Certainly good for many photos. This verdict could be also applied to several renovated timber dwellings in some streets of the town. The retail area has been upgraded and the town generally is becoming gentrified, some might say trendy. Certainly the town thinks it is going upmarket. Restaurant and eatery options are moving towards the aspiring and influencer market, with prices commensurate.
Thus you have a summer place, a weekend or discreet getaway in other seasons as well. There are various opinions that could be made, but for me I found the visit to be worthwhile. My other half views the town and attractions to be generally overrated, and the visit to be rather disappointing.

Kuressaare castle gives interesting insights into the history of Estonia in general, but also the past events of Saaremaa, which are good to know for any traveler to understand the mindset and the attitude of the locals. There are various food options and the town is tiny, so you can get around by foot. Castello Restaurant has a very nice hidden terrace in the back of the restaurant which is very cozy.

Very nice city, not big but pretty.
Very nice city, not big but pretty. We used only a few hours to see all the attractions here and the other time we traveled around Saaremaa island by car. You don't need a lot of time to see the main things.

Great place to visit during summer.
Great place to visit during summer. There were many attractions around the island as we drove to destination, so we stopped along the way. There was a Viking expo at the central church, highly recommended if still available.
We had a wonderful time at Georg Ots Spa Hotel. Several things that made this a great experience: the breakfast. Great coffee, tasty food, lovely space. The restaurant – really tasty dishes and great attitude from the waiters. The spa and outdoor pool were amazing, and so were the staff overall. We rented bikes for a day, so that's a fun little activity you can add to your stay. And we had a beautiful view over the sea side and pool and watched a lovely sunset. Thank you!
I liked the location itself. Hotel is located just near Kuressaare Castle 50 meters away. Very convenient place for exploring the castle museum and nearby areas. Breakfast is served in very cozy way and made of local island ingredients.
Personally would prefer slightly more modern room. Staff is very friendly and supportive.
The interior of the room and building was very cool, it gave the early 20th century villa vibe. Breakfast was different from usual hotel breakfasts, but I liked it. There were something for every taste. And the location is very good, there was only a 10-minute walk to city center.
Great location, nice hotel, rooms are small but functional. The spa area is small, but really nice, especially enjoyed the outdoor pool.
Highlight was definitely the breakfast, incredibly good selection of food, also a lot of local and home made produce.
Cozy and well-furnished apartment. Very good location in the center of Kuressaare, many cafes and restaurants in the surrounding area. The hosts were nice, communication was easy and friendly. Would definitely come again!
Good hotel with really nice small spa. Love the outdoor pool + indoor warm pools.
The family apartment is really convenient for family stay. Location is super as everything you need in Kuressaare is in walking distance.
You can park your car safely in front of the hotel building, and everything in Kuressaare is in walking distance.
Rooms and beds were not large, but comfortable for us and served their purpose.
Breakfast was OK.
I would rank Kuressaare to the second place in Estonia behind Tallinn. There is a huge castle which is totally renovated surrounded by a water trench, an authentic old town, and a beach for little kids.
Apartment was super, kitchen is very well equipped, comfortable bed, everything very clean. Nice suprise was the discounts at Asa Spa Hotel restaurant and spa! Will def visit again
Great Hotel in the center off Kuressaare
Clean and very cofmfortable room with mini fridge.
Very nice/friendly staff!!!
Hotel has perfect/nice cafe/restaurant ,outside garden area
Nice, clean, well furnished and spacious apartment.
Free cot for a child.
Parking in the courtyard.
Kuressaare is a small town - everything's within a walking distance.
Breakfast was good. Restaurant and wellness SPA staff was especially friendly and accommodating. Great location and wonderful scenic views from seaside windows.
You can get a room 24/7 and are actually able to check in 24/7, not like the rest of the hotels in kuressaare, which close their doors already at 11 pm
