A great base for exploring the Luberon Region. Manosque has several attractive pedestrian streets, with elegant stores and friendly bars. Several good French and Italian restaurants in the town center, as well as along the "ring road" that circles the town. Nice, compact town centre, and a good choice of bars and restaurants. Easy parking in the centre of the old town. Great base for exploring the lavender fields on the nearby plateau de Valensole We ate at a restaurant called "La Petite Provencal" which had brilliant staff and gorgeous, fresh local food at very reasonable prices.

I went at the wrong time of the year I think, locals were sullen and not very friendly, I got food poisoning from a well recommended restaurant and in all there isn't much there, two hours covers everything in the town. Groups of young men roaming about at night not inspiring. Best eating Taj Mahal, friendly staff great food, excellent value for money. On your own, avoid.JeffreySpain

Although the property is very pleasantly constructed and renovated, the fact that it is on three levels (a triplex) connected by VERY STEEP STAIRCASES makes it quite difficult to get large bags upstairs to the bedroom (on the top floor) and to enjoy the property with the sense of ease one seeks on a holiday.BruceUnited States

We used the hotel as a base to explore the area, including gorges du Verdon which was around a 1 hour drive away. We had breakfast on the terrace which was tasty and peaceful.
