We chose this because we wanted to visit Hampton Court...
We chose this because we wanted to visit Hampton Court Palace. After a superb evening meal at our hotel The White Hart we went for a wander over the bridge where we discovered a lively area of restaurants & bars with a great atmosphere. Also found out about a river boat trip that could take us to Hampton Court. We were able to book tickets online for the next day. And a 5 minute walk from the hotel is a train station that takes you to Waterloo.PeterUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

It is a lovely area - good railway links into London. There are nice walks and a good selection of bars and restaurants. Our main purpose was to visit Hampton Court and it was an excellent base for that.

The location was easy to fund.

It's a good base from which to explore local or nearby places of interest, such as Hampton Court Palace. Very good transport links. There are superb restaurants for all tastes. Excellent shopping area.

The hotel sits right next to two bus stops that will take you all over the area. We took the bus to Kew Gardens and to the Airport without any trouble at all.
