We were upgraded to a bigger room; great position; helpful staff, although had to advise on how to chill wine (you need iced water, not just ice). Dinner was quite good; breakfast was very good.

Super comfy beds and excellent breakfast. Beautiful location just across the road from the church.
The staff were very helpful and explained they were aware of issues but they had only been running the place sonce last Noevmber and were working through sorting everything out.

The cottage very comfortable and clean. The host was great and very helpful regarding information about the area. We have stayed here in the past. This visit did not disappoint. There is not fridge in the room so the host permitted me to store my meds in her fridge, which was extremely kind of her. As for breakfast, it was very delicious. I highly recommend a stay.

This is our go to Dales hotel - we've stayed here on numerous occasions and rarely been disappointed. The breakfast is second to none and the evening meals are really good (if quite pricey). But its quality and a proper Yorkshire pub. The bedrooms are really nicely decorated and comfortable.
The Wheatsheaf Hotel is set in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park. The restaurant serves dishes made using local recipes and produce, and the bar serves real ales.

The Wheatsheaf Inn was amazing. Such friendly owners and staff. The rooms were very comfortable, and well set out. We ate an evening meal and a cooked breakfast and it was all a good quality. We would definitely stay again if in the area but being from New Zealand we may not be back.

Reeth is a beautiful village and the centre of the Swaledale Festival which is why we were visiting, as we have for the past few years.
There are a variety of places to eat, some interesting craft/art shops and beautiful countryside for miels and miles around.

A great area for walking - at any level.
A great area for walking - at any level. Great views of dales and moorland, with lots of wildlife.
Fond a a lovely little cafe/hotel in Twaite for lunch and in the evening we ate in the Bridge at Grinton which had a fantastic atmosphere. Lots of dogs , children and locals enjoying a pint. Good log fire was appreciated as the weather was dreary.

A quiet typically Swaledale market town.
A quiet typically Swaledale market town. Great small shop, well thought out with post office and gifts. Also paper shop and great pubs. A good base to walk from and accessible drives/walks through Swaledale along the valley or up and over. Wensleydale is a short drive over and the Buttertubs Pass is spectacular. Gorgeous 18th century town of Richmond is to hand and well worth a visit. Cannot recommend Reeth highly enough to serious walkers, strollers or sightseers. Incredible views of the dales and friendly Yorkshire people.

One of the most beautiful Dales villages with great walking...
One of the most beautiful Dales villages with great walking and pubs. The Black Bull was friendly with good food and a wide selection of Ales. The other pubs were great too. The Red Lion at Langthwaite is really worth a visit to experience a traditional Dales Pub. Excellent location to explore Swale Dale and Arkengarth Dale. The drive from Layburn to Reeth is sensational whist the other routes over to Wensley Dale via Askrigg or over Buttertubs pass to Hawes are so dramatic. A paradise for walking, scenery, beer and food!
Reeth is a beautiful location. The Kings Arms is a great pub/hotel. But what made our stay especially memorable was the lengths the owners and their team went to in the evening when going out of their way to provide us with food after we had missed the end of service. Breakfast was great too! We will definitely return! And to the owners and their team, if you're reading this, thank you so much. Chris & Pauline and our son Russ and his girlfriend Alex who were over from Australia. You made our stay particularly memorable.
Spacious, comfortable cosy cottage with lots of character, spread over three floors.
Fabulous views from the kitchen-diner
Village of Reeth was friendly with lots of facilities for its size
Pubs either side, tea shops, craft shop, library, restaurant, ice-cream parlour
Plenty of local walking from the front door.
Great little community bus with friendly volunteer drivers took us to Richmond and Muker
Fantastic location, lovely and super friendly hosts, delicious breakfast, stunning views from the windows, all the things that were needed were in place. A great touch was the collection of guidebooks, maps and photo albums from the area. Of course the parking although narrow but was always available! We absolutely loved our stay in Reeth - will be back!☺️
Modern twist in a classical building . Beautiful ensuite bathroom with a superb shower. The lounge area within the hotel was very comfortable . Breakfast were outstanding as was all the food we consumed during our stay. They have without doubt ‘a top chef’ .
Every member of staff made us very welcome and their friendliness added to the overall experience
The food is fantastic here and the rooms were beautifully appointed. All of the staff were delightful We were traveling with two other people and the hotel upgraded their room to a gorgeous suite! There’s also parking in the back of the property which is very nice.
Lovely little B&B on the green in Reeth. Our room was really comfortable with all the little touches that let you settle in. Donna was very welcoming and made us great breakfasts. We wish we could have stayed longer.
This is a well run country house hotel in a marvelous location. It achieves its reputation through the comfort of its rooms, the high standard of its cuisine and the welcome provided by its staff.
Location - nice location - not far to walk in to Reeth which has 2 nice pubs.
Views - amazing views from the property
