During my travels through London, I have experienced numerous accommodations, and I must commend the Selwyn Hotel for making a truly remarkable impression. The atmosphere was exceptionally warm and welcoming, a perfect respite following our journey from the States. The comfort of the beds significantly enhanced our first night's stay.
Located in Richmond, the hotel was an ideal base for exploring local sites. The staff consistently extended a warm welcome, making our visit even more enjoyable. The manager personally ensured that we were well cared for, further exemplifying the hotel's commitment to outstanding guest service. Each staff member we encountered was both friendly and professional.
I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit to London, during which I intend to return to the Selwyn Hotel. This stay was a standout experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking exceptional hospitality.

Didn’t get chance to see more than the park but it was worth the stay just for that. We were visiting for a sporting event nearby and we were perfectly situated. The surrounding area looked lovely, very green and clean. Walking in London and seeing wild deer is a must

Beautiful place.
Beautiful place. Loads of lovely small back streets with unique shops to wander down. Loads of places to eat out. Views from the bridges were amazing. Everything once parked up just seemed within walking distance.

We liked the restaurants and cafés.
We liked the restaurants and cafés. There are many interesting places to visit nearby. We enjoyed Syon Huse, Osterley House and the London Wetland Centre. It's an easy train journet to Waterloo Station for Central London. I wouldn't want to live under the Heathrow flight path.

The people that run the property are fabulous, some of the nicest people anywhere, also, this is a pub hotel, enjoy a beer or cider while checking in. We enjoyed a great breakfast every morning and it is included but we ate dinner there both nights that we stayed. The dinners were delicious and there was plenty of food. The location was also great, it is halfway between the train station and Richmond Hill Park. Listen to Pat for directions, he is very helpful. The room was large and everything worked.
Room was very nice size and fully equipped with mini fridge and excellent drink choices, chocolate and biscuits, coffee maker, toiletries, iron, hair dryer, slippers and robes. Hotel has a wonderful restaurant with outdoor terrace and nice staff. Location is right by the river and hiking trails, easy 10 minute walk to restaurants and stores. Whole Foods is about 20 min walk.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.
The property was very comfortable. There was nothing I needed and it wasn’t available. The location was perfect for public transport. Literally opposite the tube and train station of Richmond. Two steps away from the river and the gorgeous greens. Very quite building and safe. The host was so quick to reply and accommodate instantly. I will have to be in London every two to three months and would book the same property again and always.
We had a delux queen room and this was lovely. My daughter and grand daughter stayed in a standard room, and for this type of hotel and for this price the room was very, very small.
There was a problem with the window in her initial room so she was moved and the second room was a little larger, but still very small.
Location is lovely, but if visiting London is part of your journey, the public transport links aren’t great.
The Room was comfy, clean and plenty big enough. Good location, easy links to central London via tube or bus. A short walk to Richmond Centre with plenty of restaurants, river and parks. Good breakfast (I didn't try other food during my stay). Friendly staff. Quiet location despite being central as it's just off the main routes.
Great hotel in a lovely location. 5 minute walk into central Richmond and two minutes to the Thames. Felt luxurious and staff were exceptionally helpful. Free on site parking is a rare commodity in London.
Everything was perfect from the moment we checked in .
To be able to park free outside a hotel in London was fantastic. Staff all attentive, breakfast really good quality and outdoor hot tub so relaxing.
We had a lovely night away at the Richmond Hill Hotel. We stayed in a Georgian deluxe double and it was absolutely beautiful. Staff were friendly and the food in the restaurant was amazing.
Good location not far from Richmond town.
Bus stop right outside the hotel to tube station to central London.
Rooms comfortable clean and good bed
Nice full English breakfast.
