Fantastic hotel. Great staff who made you feel very welcome. Food excellent and plentiful. Location is gorgeous, right by the side of the sea, but almost like a private bay. The grounds are beautiful with flowers and wildlife. So peaceful. The room was a good size and the beds very comfortable. We stayed a week all inclusive for our anniversary and really enjoyed it. There is an entertainment programme and the guys running it were fab. Nothing to fault here. Amazing 💜

This was such great value for money, in a clean and spacious room with aircon. For Slano, this was a good price compared to other accommodation that did not have an en suite bathroom or mini kitchen. Marija is a lovely host who was very helpful. Beautiful view from the balcony and a few steps from the rectors palace.

We stayed in Slano for a week in mid-October.
We stayed in Slano for a week in mid-October. Slano was almost deserted and very quiet. We hiked along the seashore in both directions and also climbed higher to the top of the peninsula. It is possible to swim almost anywhere by the sea. The water was about 22 degrees Celsius in mid-October. Although there was a special very strong warm wind on two days, there were no big waves in Slano Bay. We visited Trsteno Arboretum (located near Slano) on a very windy and cloudy day. We only visited a part of it (we didn't climb down to the sea), but for a northern European, dense bamboo groves, very powerful pine trees, etc. were an experience. There are nearly 500 species of trees and plants in the park, but those who are not interested in plants and are in a hurry may find the park uninteresting.

Super cute little town. Local bread/bakery shop is a must.
Super cute little town. Local bread/bakery shop is a must. We also had breakfast at a local place which was a buffet.
We did get a ticket since we didn't pay to park. We never saw a sign stating this spot was for pay. Make sure you check your area. Parking ticket was 10 Euros. Have no idea how we pay this since we are on vacation.

Dreadful accommodation (read my Review on Booking.com).
Dreadful accommodation (read my Review on Booking.com). The cleaner / hostess was wonderful, but the actual accomodation was dreadful. The 2 units that we were using (had to be moved) were in a bad state of disrepair. The owner needs to spend a bit of money to get them even to a ‘reasonable’ standard.
We were VERY disappointed. Would never stay here again.

Lovely little town, ideal as a stopover point for a few days...
Lovely little town, ideal as a stopover point for a few days before catching a flight out of Dubrovnik which is what we used it for. Gives time to relax for a few more days. Quite when we were there (mid October) but I would assume a bit busier in peak season.
A minor downside are the cruise ships that moor up over night, they can be a little noisy and some of their guests have little concern for others staying in the area. These tend to be at the weekends.
My hosts could not have been more gracious. I was offered a cold beer upon arrival, and the breakfast served each morning is delicious, including fresh omelets from their own hens and fresh squeezed orange juice. The rooms are quiet and have great air conditioning, though it wasn't really needed; Slano is nice and cool compared to downtown Dubrovnik! For my next trip to Croatia, I plan to make Slano our hub and will absolutely stay here again. Highly, highly recommend.
The best location possible!
Private access to the see, great view.
Neighbours only on one side but it is also a private house, no noise or disturbance
It is just 50 off the main road but you do not see any traffic and can hardly hear anything.
It is close enough to Dubrovnik (25 min drive) and at the same time far enough not be annoyed by the ridiculous hordes of tourists there
The apartment has a perfect location, it is directly on the seaside. There is a big tarrace and sun beds that we could use. If you prefer beaches, there is one that you can reach in 5 min on foot. In the Town nearby you can find great restaurants and a supermarket. Good place If you would like to do 1 day trips. In exampl3 Dubrovnik is just an hour drive.
Our seventh time staying Slano, and our second time staying at this property. Domagoj and his family are some of the kindest, most accommodating and friendliest hosts you could ask for - nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is exceptional, the village as beautiful as ever, and it is always sad to leave. We will be back next year, as always.
Beautiful place I strongly recommend.
Newly renovated rooms
The most beautiful and clean sea that i saw for the last few years.
The water was warm and particularly perfect for diving and snorkeling.
The food was also extremely good.
Free parking.
Quite location far from the city and other Hotels, so no strangers around.
Private beach.
lovely room with every facility, Jana is very welcoming. There is free parking and a lovely beach that can be reached by foot in 10 minutes. Slano is at a 10-minutes drive and there you find a bakery, cafè, restaurants. It's a very quite place and silent but it's quite fast to reach Dubrovnik too!
The studio is beautiful, everything was excellent quality and extremely comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped, the bathroom is very spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Loved the veranda with the sea view. The location is fabulous for the local beach and the lovely Slano harbour.
We loved the apartment as all 6 apartments have sea views. The complementary bicycles and private beach across the quiet road. Slano Village is an 18-minute walk, marina, and boat company that runs trips twice a week to Dubrovnik and the Islands. There's free parking also.
Beautiful seaview, very close to water. Quiet place. Shops and restaurants are nearby. You can also rent a boat from neighbour.
Apartment has good kitchen equipment. We arrived one hour earlier and we could check in with no problem, very helpful.
Wonderful place with full privacy surrounded by beautiful nature and a beautiful sea ideal for rest and relaxation not far from Dubrovnik with excellent and kind owner Daniela, always ready to help you whenever you need.
We just slept there one night, so I can hard tell about the hotel into the details. Room was good and clean, bed was really comfortable. Hotel in general is nice. I did not use any additional facilities (pool etc.).
Nice small hotel located very close to the sea. Room was small but fitted the purpose for my one night stay. You need a mean of transport to get there and be able to move for the beach etc.
Loved the room with the balcony overlooking the harbor of Slano. Bed was extremely comfortable, fast WiFi. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Also loved the indoor pool and hot tub.
