Visit San Marino was a dream plan for us.
We rent a car to rich San Marino from Florence. We had only one night reserved for San Marino. This place is unique. I plan to come back one day to stay longer and enjoy the beauty of this place.

San Marino itself is an amazing place to visit.
San Marino itself is an amazing place to visit. All the historical buildings, steep winding streets of vendors continuing for ages until you reach the top castle embattlements. And you can pick another route down passing more vendors along the way, everything from high end fashion and jewelry to weapons shops. As an Australian, I was shocked that all these guns, knives, machetes, flick knives, spears, high powered bows, arrows, sling shots, crossbows etc. were for open sale. Our laws prevent such sale of deadly weapons but each to their own.

Walking up Mount Titan and visiting the towers was great - a nice escape into a wooded area on a hot day. The old historic centre was lovely, and there appeared to be a couple of good restaurants up there. But otherwise, once you leave the historic centre, but are still up on the hill, it was difficult to find a decent restaurant for dinner that served more than just burgers or sandwiches. I would suggest that San Marino is nice to visit for a couple of hours, explore the historic centre, maybe do some tax-free shopping, but it doesn't require an overnight stay.

San Marino, the capitol and old town of the San Marino...
San Marino, the capitol and old town of the San Marino republic, located on the top of Monte Titano, is a fantastic and tremendously scenic place. In my opinion there are many beautiful and interesting things to see and learn more about just walking around in the old town and visiting the three towers. In addition to the wonderful scenery and the historical sensation, there are numerous museums, shops or restaurants to visit. definitely quite a nice place to go for a short stay.
The only thing I didn't appreciate that much and that I found didn't really fit in this specific environment was the commercial approach with plenty of shops and stalls trying to sell various gadgets and thingies. But ok, everything can't be completely genuine and all that perfect.

After the crowdedness of other European cities San Marino...
After the crowdedness of other European cities San Marino was a haven. This is probably because there is no airport or train station and you really need a car to get there. The mountain and old town are Unesco heritage protected and the views are stunning. We loved visiting the three towers and the Public Palace. Unique boutiques with quality products ( shopping is tax free) and there are some great buys to be had particularly Italian leather bags and jewellery. A picturesque and charming place.
Casa Cicetta was absolutely stunning and surpassed our expectations. The apartment is beautiful, modern and tastefully decorated and equipped. Everything was good quality and tasteful.
The location is perfect only a street away from the main high street with restaurants and shops and the view is outstanding!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could stay in San Marino longer. Everyone involved in our booking, stay and greeting us were incredibly helpful, thank you.
The room was very good, big and clean. Thankfully, our room was on the back side with a nice view. The breakfast was excellent, there was a variety. The staff was helpful and kind.
There is access and transportation to Rimini and to the historical centre of San Marino. There is a bus station in front of the hotel, where you may catch the bus from Rimini to the historical centre or the local bus. Also, in a distance of 1km you may get on the cable car.
Really very exceptional view from top of the hill. It is located directly in the historical center of San Marino Town, just beside the Hill station of the cable car. Parking space for own car is down at the bottom station P11 of the cable car. Or use one of the two Parking Areas on the hill. Nice and clean hotel with own restaurant, very friendly staff. Nice Food and Coffee. There are many shops and many restaurants. Absolutely worth a trip.
we stayed at one night and loved San Marino and the hotel too.
staff was very kind and helpful, we did appreciate the free San Marino card for the local discounts.
great price & value ratio, also SM is way cheaper as Italy from restaurant/bar perspective.
breakfast is delicious with wide selection, check-in/out was quick and easy, bed is comfy, room was quiet to sleep well.
i recommend to use P7 for parking, safe place for your car.
It's located just over 1 kilometer from the center of San Marino town. If you're traveling by car, it's convenient ad there is a place to park, but if you are using public transportation, it's about a 15 minute walk up and down a hill each way to get into town. One bonus is if you are taking the bus back to Rimini, the bus stops almost in front of the hotel.
location is In the heart of San Marino.
super close to the three towers and all the stores.
they have a private parking.
amazing staff welcomed us and were so nice and advising, they give you a discount card that works with most of the stores around.
and the best, in my opinion, was the restaurant in the terrace of the hotel.
Fell in love with San Marino, and it was a privilege to stay right in the old town.
The room was spacious, with very thoughtful local gifts/information. Sadly didn't have time to make use of terrace. Enjoyed just going downstairs for dinner.
Breakfast at local 'sister' hotel was plentiful and well-varied.
The absolute convenience as a position. Next to a public parking that the hotel can arrange the payment and at the very entry of the east side of the old center. The restaurant is amazing and the food was delicious
A very good reason to return to San Marino
Such a good location, round the corner from the cable car to San Marino which is only 4€ return with the Tutto San Marino card which guests are given on arrival at the hotel. Also very close to the Borgo Maggiore bus stop for the Rimini-San Marino bus.
A very convenient, comfortable and reasonably priced hotel to stay for visiting San Marino with a car. The staff are very friendly and service is good. There is also a good Asia fusion restaurant next door, which is quite popular with locals.
Great location in the very center of San Marino’s tourist district. Plenty of cafe’s, restaurants, souvenir and air soft machine gun shops nearby! Easy walk to the 3 towers and museums.
Great host, breakfast and location. Nice and clean. Parking was nearby and we received a discount via San Marino visitor cards provided from the hotel. Will stay there again.
Great position in San Marino with the bonus of parking (extra fee) at the door. Benefit of staying a night is that the town clears of day trippers in the late afternoon.
Nice hotel with excellent location.
Very good breakfast.
Public parking nearby is certainly a plus in San Marino, as the hotel has a very competitive daily price.
Fantastic place, staff and food. Rooms are basic but nice. The pool, outdoor area and the view are truly special. Perfect place to relax and enjoy San Marino.
Charming hotel in quiet town, perfect base to explore San Marino! The room was quite spacious and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
This hotel was located in the heart of the old town of San Marino. It was a great location with friendly staff, a nice breakfast and comfortable rooms.
