Perfectly located, great patio area overlooking the water, large and roomy apartment.
Its a picture perfect town. I don't need to describe its beauty. Its apparent from my pictures itself. We were lucky to see Northern lights (Aurora Borealis ) during our stay. It made the stay even more unforgettable.

The cottage we stayed in was cosy with a fantastic view of the water and mountain, sitting there with a hot drink in hand and enjoying the view after a walk on a windy rainy day was the best way to end the day. Has all the things we need for cooking. Free parking space, easy to get in and out of places. It's a pleasant stay.

We did the Reinebrigen hike.
We did the Reinebrigen hike. Lots of people but amazing views.
We also rented a boat from the hotel and went to Vindstad and did the hike to Helvetestiden and Bunes beach. Loved it.
Drive down to the town of Å. Went to the old bakery for cinnamon rolls. Charming. Stopped for lunch at Maren Anna on the way back to the hotel.
The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant. We stopped in at Anitas Sjomat for shrimp and brought them back for dinner at our cabin. One night we walked to dinner at Gadus. Charming and convenient.

This is a truly beautiful and majestic landscape, and definitely not to be missed. Inevitably it's own fame and success, together with its one main road, means it can be busy at times, certainly during summer months.
I wouldn't miss it for the world, but there are other really stunning places in Noway to see without the cavalcade of motorhomes, so don't miss those either.

Beautiful location if you have a car.
Beautiful location if you have a car. Very remote with lots of hiking and water activities (for additional fees). You definitely get the sense of what a rugged place this is to live in year round. We had a wonderful (expensive) dinner at the Gammelbua restaurant. No fast food. Try the Coop Prix in Reine to pick up food for lunch/snacks. This is such a beautiful spot that renting a hotel early (6+months ahead) for the high Midnight sun summer season is a must. We enjoyed the museums in A (village south of Moskenes) as they set the stage for us to understand the recent legacy that is Lofoten today.

Driving in Lofoten towards Reine is fun and blissful with great views and beautiful landscapes. We made numerous stops just so we could digest the most beautiful scenery during our autumn road trip. ❤️💕❤️
My two-night stay was a truly memorable experience. I booked the small rorbu Minibua, wich provided beutiful views from the kitchen window. Minibua was cozy, clean, and well-equipped for easy cooking. The bunk beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The accessible parking nearby was a convenient perk, and I found it incredibly easy to explore the surrounding area.
Overall, Rostad Retro Rorbuer is super charming, and I highly recommend it for a cozy getaway in Lofoten!
When you look up Lofoten, Eliassen is the place that immediately pops up. It’s like a charming little village of red rorbus surrounded by the mountains and the fjord. The rooms are modern, cosy and kitchen is well equipped. Plenty of sockets all around the place. First accommodation that we visited where we had three waste bins to separate and recycle trash - kudos for that.
Overall wonderful experience and do not regret it one bit, I would return in a heartbeat.
The way the whole building was designed was very cute. I was a little worried about the shower/bathroom situation, but there are plenty of toilets/showers. 1 bathroom upstairs with toilet and shower, and downstairs they have like 4 showers with some bathrooms. They also had coffee available. Bed was pretty comfortable. They had soap and plenty of towels. There's a lot of activities available it sounded like. The location is perfect especially hiking reinebringen.
Lovely hotel in Reine’s centre. Warm welcome with a Tour of the beautiful and tastefully decorated hotel. The room was large, comfortable and clean (great view on the fjord too) and the shared bathrooms look brand new and stylish. There are two ‘living/dining room’ (one with fire place) where you can have some coffee or tea, a gym and a small kitchen you can use. We also took a beautiful kayak tour on the fjord with the hotel owner as guide. Absolutely recommend!
Hotel very conveniently located in the very center of Reine, and one of the only onex including a breakfast, for a good price per night. The rooms seem to have been renovated this year, the bathrooms are very nice with strong water pressure in the shower, the beds are simple but comfortable. It is a self check-in/out hotel but the staff is very friendly and responsive via messages or phone.
Cozy and clean cabin that was perfect for my family of 4 (2 adults with two teens). The place had a great feeling to it like borrowing a friend’s cabin. Reine is the most beautiful town on the Lofoten islands and a great place to stay. While the main part of town is a little ways away, there is a restaurant and grocery store within walking distance.
Brand new Rorbuer with spectacular views over Reine. It was very well equipped and comfortable. Wifi was good. We didn’t have a car, which was no problem as the bus stops about 50m away. Right beside the bus stop is a supermarket so dead easy to self cater, although there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance.
Modern and cozy apartment with a well equipped kitchen, common washer and dryer and everything you need.
The view from the room is beautiful, and the apartment felt clean and new.
It is in a walking distance to the reinebringen hike.
I would definitely recommend.
The bed, it’s so comfortable.
The location, Reine is tiny, but it’s right in the center.
Fridge and kettle available (instant coffee and tea too).
Room was really spacious (two comfortable chairs and a coffee table).
Beautiful views.
Very clean.
This property could not be positioned any better in my opinion in the Reine area and teh view ofover the water second to none
it was a beautiful Rorbuer. the best we stayed in while in Lofoten. Slice of heaven
Perfect location to explore Lofoten! Our host, Jack helped us a lot to get the best out of our stay in Reine, he was helpful and welcoming, we’re greatful for his recommendations.
The cozy Manor with the perfect Host was a nice break from the normal hotel/camping adventure. I got tips on what to do and even extendet my stay in this lovely place
Very cozy place, small but well equipped, great location, you can walk up to the LP cover viewpoint, and about 10 mins drive to Reine, very nice in total
