Everything. It was super clean, the beds were comfy. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were incredibly nice. We couldn’t check in until 2-3pm, however they let us park early from 11am onwards. Some people have complained about the parking entrance and yes it did say full but it was empty, and it wasn’t difficult at all to get in or out personally.

Airy, bright, handy for the sea and for Porto. Excellent transport - metro and 500 bus round the coast with lovely views. Transport is cheap with an Andante card that you can use on both. Handy shops and restaurants.

Super family room with child bed in slightly separate wing for privacy. This hotel was ideally situated to attend the Porto U11 International Football Tournament. We loved that we did not need to rent a car (Uber was always a few minutes away). There were many activities to do: Beach, water sports, Restaurants, Casa da Guitarra Fado show, Porto & Wine Tasting. The city is walkable and full of small interesting shops and buildings. I highly recommend Bacalhau in Muro dos Bacalhoeiros 153 - 155 4050-080 Porto for lunch. 100 Fome Restaurant Rua do Godinho 121 4450-148 Matosinhos for dinner and a visit to the Mercado Municipal Matosinhos Rua do Cde de São Salvador 372 4450-264 to eat a fresh and tasty lunch at Diga Maria’s Top floor also street entrance.JacquelineGermany - 8.0Scored 8.0

I would not stay in the suites again but enjoyed the locality of the old town of Matosinhos and it’s very nice beach. There is a very moving sculpture on the beach about the tragic loss of the fishing fleet and many men from the town, during a terrible storm in the last century. There are many really good traditional restaurants with delicious traditional Portuguese food, away from the beach area. The public transport is good with Metro and bus connections to central Porto. There are many beautiful art nouveau and art deco era buildings in the town.ShelleyAustralia

Just for that alone she deserves 10 extra points. The location is in a hot spot of porto - it’s Matosinhos sul. It’s the city beach and served by metro. It’s the most expensive real estate in port for reference. The rooms are just like the pictures. It is so clean and well cleaned and up kept. Check in and check out is done by code. Fishtail Seahouse is an easy 10km walk from the Cathedral of Porto and is easy walking distance to some really great seafood restaurants. Accommodations were good.
