Built in 1903, the iconic Taj Mahal Palace stands majestically opposite the Gateway of India, overlooking the Arabian Sea. We were upgraded to a suite, which was simply amazing. The views, the room, the attention to detail, the service, the pool. The best hotel I have ever visited, can't wait to go back again.

The location and the history of the iconic property is obviously amazing. The internal design, architecture and aura in the Palace building is very beautiful. The service by staff was outstanding and I think this was the real highlight of our stay - right from the time of checkin to checkout. I would like to make a special mention of the Housekeeping manager- Mr. Sandeep Ghuge, who made some special arrangements in our room for myself and my wife (who is a foreigner visiting Mumbai for the first time) , because we were at the Taj to celebrate our anniversary. All in all , a memorable experience. The food in the restaurant (Masala Bay) as well as at the complimentary breakfast was also outstanding.

Ideal gelegen in Mumbai, bietet die Unterkunft YWCA International Centre klimatisierte Zimmer mit kostenlosem WLAN und Privatparkplätzen. Die Lage ist fussläufig zum Gateway of India und circa 15 Minuten zu Fuß zum Bahnhof Churchgate, von wo aus man sehr günstig mit der Bahn zum Dhobi Ghat, Dharavi und Flughafen fahren kann. Das Essen war immer lecker, morgens kann man sich Eier nach Wunsch zubereiten lassen (Rührei, Omelette etc.). Es war einigermaßen ruhig und die Zimmer bieten viel Platz, wir hatten sogar einen Balkon. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam.

Great location, most powerful shower we had in India, very helpful staff! Not a luxury hotel but definitely one of the best stays we had. Best choice in Mumbai at this price

This is a wonderful boutique hotel near the Gateway of India. The hotel faces the harbor and you can get great view from the rooftop restaurant, where breakfast is also served. (Psst ask for the masala omelette) Staff went out of their way to ensure my comfort.
